DAY 1 - NOVEMBER 4, 2024

Calamba Business Forum


The Calamba Business Forum, conducted in partnership with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Infustry (PCCI) Calamba Chapter,
will be a venue, stakeholders in the business sector can come together to learn more and explore areas for active collaboration and
partnership. Panel discussions focusing on the theme: “Innovate to Elevate” will feature seasoned and homegrown MSMEs and MSME
enablers to share their experiences and own entrepreneurial journey.

One-on-one Mentoring
The One-on-one Mentoring Sessions will be conducted in partnership with the Association of Local Artisans, Food, and Other Producrs of
the Philippines (ALAFOP). The ALAFOP are comprised of homegrown MSMEs and certified mentors. They will be giving free one-on-one
mentoring to guide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.

Franchise Expo
The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) will be showcasing several franchise brands such as Mister Donut, Oryspa, Living Water, and
other franchise packages of PFA members. They will also be providing a free seminar on how to invest in the right franchise for would-be
franchisees and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Kakanin Exhibit
Six (6) local kakanin makers of Calamba City will showcase their heritage kakanins. They were also the beneficiaries of the Food
Compliance and Product Development Project of the Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD). This exhibit aims to
promote and strengthen the kakanin industry in Calamba City.

Trade Fair
Ten (10) homegrown micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) based in Calamba City will be showcasing their products during the
1st Calamba MSME Summit. These MSMEs are among the assisted clients of CLDD on business and product development.

Government Help Desks


Partner government agencies will be providing their frontline services and attend to the queries and concerns of the participants.

TechBiz Showcase
The finalists of the CalambaGO TechBiz Challenge will be showcasing their innovative solutions for MSMEs. Participants will be able to
learn about the systems or applications that they have developed and how they can apply it in their businesses.

DAY 2 - NOVEMBER 5, 2024

Livelihood Demo Sessions


The Livelihood Development and Monitoring (LDM) Division of the Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD) will be
conducting a series of livelihood demo sessions including: perfume making, massage oil making, basic baking, and icing decoration.

Learning Sessions with Government Partners


The Learning Sessions will be conducted in partnership with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) and the
Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). IPOPHL will provide a seminar entitled “Understanding the Basics of
Intellectual Property”.

DAY 3 - NOVEMBER 6, 2024

Consumer Education Seminar


The Department of Trade and Industry - Laguna Provincial Office, through its Negosyo Center Calamba City, will conduct a consumer
education seminar to the participants. This is also in line with the celebration of Consumer Welfare Month last October 2024. In this
seminar, DTI aims to educate the participants regarding the consumer rights and responsibilities.

DTI Tindahan Mo, eLevel Up Mo!


The Sari-Sari Store Advancement Program aims to enable MSMEs in embracing digital transformation, enhancing financial literacy, and
promoting sustainable business practices. For the last module features “e-Level Up ang Operations” that focuses on operational efficiency
and systainibality. In addition, DTI will also talk about sustainable consumption

Sessions with Industry Partners


Industry partners in the finance and telecommunication sectors, will present their special packages for micro, small, and medium
enterprises (MSMEs).

Coop Month Culminating Program


The Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD) will be hosting the Coop Month Culminating Program. This is the
closing ceremony for the Cooperative Month Celebration last October 2024. In the program, the winners of the various activities and
competitions will be awarded. Also, selected cooperatives will be awarded based on their growth and contribution to the community. This
program will also feature an awarding ceremony for cooperatives who completed the mandatory training sessions. MSMEs who also
completed the business training program of the Product Development and Marketing (PDM) Division and the winners of the TechBiz
Challenge will also be recognized in this event.
