What is ICT 2022 Trading Strategy and How it

Works?
ICT 2022 trading strategy is an algorithmic strategy based on
Liquidity and imbalance in price with the key element being time and
price. As Michael Huddleston says price is nothing without the time.

It is a complete intraday trading strategy which can yield you up to

50 pips or more with a risk reward ratio of 1:3 or more using ICT ICT
Daily Bias.

How the ICT Trading Strategy 2022 Works?

To trade using ICT 2022 model you should have a correct ICT daily
bias which can help you to align your trades in the right direction.

After having the correct ICT daily bias, you have to wait until the
London session opening at 03:00 AM (NY-Local time).
London-Session Trading Strategy
But before going into London session do not forget to mark the
High and Low of price range from the NY-midnight open till London
open.

When London session opens you have look for price to take the high
or low of previous price range according to the daily bias, which is
known as Liquidity Sweep.

After the liquidity sweep of previous price range you should look for
an ICT Market Structure Shift with Displacement Move in the lower
timeframes like the 5-minutes or 3-minutes (even in 1-minute, but it
needs high experience) on the opposite side (aligning with the daily
bias).

After the ICT market structure shift mark the ICT PD Array like ICT fair
value gap, order block, inverse fair value gap or breaker block using
ICT premium and discount tool.

Now wait for price to trade back to the ICT PD-array in

premium/discount zone.

When price tests the ICT PD-array you can execute a trade as shown
in the example below.
In the picture above you can see the price range high and low
marked before the London open.

Price moves up after London open to raid the liquidity of range high
and right after the liquidity sweep price returns and shifts the
structure to the sell-side.

After the MSS price retraces back to the FVG and the sell trade is
executed in the FVG with the stop loss above the London high and
take profit at the Range-low.

As you can see it successfully raided the low of range and delivered
70 pips with 1:3 risk reward ratio.

London open times is highly volatile and can yield you some good
profit because it aligns with the ICT London open kill zone time.

New York Session Trading Strategy

New York session opens at 08:00 AM New-York local time.

(I) If price has already taken the liquidity in London session and
moved away then the New-York session may see some retracement
and then continuation of London session price delivery.

In this scenario you have to draw fibonacci from the London session
low to the high prior to New-York retracement.
Now wait for price to tap the ICT Optimal Trade Entry levels and then
you can execute the trade in the direction of London price delivery,
after confirmation like the ICT MSS on 01-Minute timeframe.

As you can the illustration see in the example below.

In the picture above you can see the range high and low marked
before London open.

Price runs above the range high after London session open.

After sweeping the liquidity of range high, price reverse to the

downside and then slows down.

Meanwhile New-York session opens at 08:00 AM and price retraces

back to London range and taps the ICT Optimal Trade Entry levels.
A sell trade is executed at the ICT Optimal Trade Entry with stop loss
above the London high and take profit at the range-low.

You can see the price grabbed the range-low and successfully hit the
target.

(II) If price has been range bound in London session and not swept
the liquidity of high/low then mark the high and low of price range
from New York midnight open till the New-York open.

When the New York session open you have to look for the liquidity
sweep on either side (high/low) affirming your daily bias.

After the liquidity sweep of previous price range you should look for
an ICT market structure shift with displacement in the lower
timeframes like the 5-minutes or 3-minutes (even in 1-minute, but it
needs high experience) on the opposite side (aligning with the daily
bias).

After the ICT market structure shift mark the ICT PD-array like ICT fair
value gap, order block, inverse fair value gap or breaker block using
ICT premium and discount tool.

Now wait for price to trade back to the ICT PD-array in

premium/discount zone.

When price tests the ICT PD-array you can execute a trade as shown
in the example below.
In the picture above you can see the range high and low marked,
while the London session remained quite and not grabbed the low
or high of range.

After the New-York session open price grabs the low of range.

While grabbing the low of range price reverses to the upside and
shifts the market structure.
After that prices retraces back to the Breaker-Block where a buy
trade has been executed with stop loss below the low of order block
and take profit at the range high.

Price successfully ran up and hit the target delivering 70 pips.
