Instructions
The question paper consists of 3 parts: 29 questions in total and 1 bonus question.
Part 1: Questions no. 1 – 12, each correct answer is worth 4 points,
1 point for each blank answer, and 0 point for each incorrect answer.
Part 2: Questions no. 13 – 24, each correct answer is worth 6 points,
1.5 points for each blank answer, and 0 point for each incorrect answer.
Part 3: Questions no. 25 – 29, each correct answer is worth 7 points,
and 0 point for each incorrect or blank answer.
Bonus Question (Student may or may not give the answer)
A correct answer is worth 20 points.
An incorrect answer is deducted 7 points and 0 point for blank answer.

• Any calculators and electronic devices are not allowed.

other is a square.
• A rectangular paper has the length of width and the length of breadth
differ by 8 cm.
• The perimeter of the rectangle paper is 12 centimeters greater than the
perimeter of the square paper.
If the area of the square paper is 64 square centimeters, then what is the
area of a rectangle paper, in centimeters?

7. Patanasang is an apple merchant.


Today he has 2022 apples. He takes all the apples into k baskets for sell.

9. For any positive integers n .
Let f (n) be a unit digit of product 2 × 2 ×  × 2 (there is n of 2’s)
For example,
f (3) is a unit digit of product 2 × 2 × 2 ,
and f (5) is a unit digit of product 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 .
Since 2 × 2 × 2 = 8 and 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 32 ,
So we have, f (3) = 8 and f (5) = 2 .
If I , T , M , C are positive integers such that
f ( I ) < f (T ) < f ( M ) < f (C ) ,
then what is the value of 2 f ( I ) + 5 f (T ) + 6 f ( M ) + 5 f (C ) ?

One day, all of them went fishing in the afternoon.
• Euler and Fermat caught 2 fish in total.
• Fermat and Wilson caught 5 fish in total.
• Wilson and Ceva caught 6 fish in total.
• Ceva and Menelaus caught 5 fish in total.

Consider the following statements:


(1) Wilson caught 4 fish.

students in the class changed to be 41.5 kg.
If the weight of two absent students is differ by 2 kg, then find the
weight, in kg., of the heavier students between two absent students.

24. X and Y play a game of darts. Each of them has six darts to play.
On the target shown each circle has a different score.
They will get the points that specified in each circle if a dart into the
target and will not get score when a dart out of the target.

the least total number of darts that both of them have to throw into the target.

In the case that an answer is not integral, students have to put the
nearest integral answer. Students have to answer the last five digits in
the case that the answer from calculating is more than 5 digits.

25. There are 8 balls each labelled a prime number on it as shown in the
figure.

26. Let ITMC be a parallelogram with P is the midpoint of IT.


X is the midpoint of PM.
If the area of a triangle CXT is 90 cm2,
then what is the area of a quadrilateral ITMC, in cm2.

27. A dog trainer has developed a training plan for a Keeshond puppy
named Menelaus.
The trainer places Menelaus at a starting point.
The first snack is placed 7 meters from the starting point, and the next
snacks are placed 4 meters apart in a straight line as shown in the figure.

Each time for eating snack Menelaus has to run from a starting point to
eat the nearest snack and the trainer will let it run back to the starting point
before he let Menelaus eat the nearest snack, keep doing this process until the
last snack be eaten and it runs back to the starting point.
If the total distance that is run by Menelaus is 1050 meters, then find the
number of snacks that trainer placed in total.

and no one do more than 7 questions.
There were 98 students who each do no more than 6 questions.
There were 95 students who each do no more than 5 questions.
There were 87 students who each do no more than 4 questions.
There were 80 students who each do no more than 3 questions.
There were 65 students who each do no more than 2 questions.
and there were 30 students who each took no more than 1 question.
Determine the total number of questions do by all students.

• -7 points for the incorrect answer.

In the case that an answer is not integral, students have to put the
nearest integral answer. Students have to answer the last five digits in
the case that the answer from calculating is more than 5 digits.

30. There are 120 boxes, each containing a different number of coins
from 1 to 120 coins.
An operation is that we must select at least one box and take the same
number of coins from every selected box.

For example, the first of the operation students may select the boxes
containing 10 to 30 coins and remove 10 coins from each of the 21 selected
boxes.

Find the smallest number of operations that we have to do so that every


coin is taken out of every box. This will make all boxes to be empty.
