Product Range: Voltage Stabilizer, Digital UPS, Inverter and Inverter Batteries, Electric Water
Heaters, Solar Water Heaters, Domestic Pumps, Agricultural Pumps, Industrial Motors, Domestic
Switch Gears, Distribution Boards, Wiring Cables, Industrial Cables, Induction Cooktops, Mixer
Grinders, Fans, Rice Cooker, Gas Stoves & Solar Power Systems.
JOB SUMMARY:
The New Product Management Trainee is responsible for driving the successful and timely
development, launch, and management of new products within the company's portfolio. This role
defining product development strategies, identifying bottlenecks and collaborating with cross-
functional teams to bring new products to market effectively and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Market Research: Support market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive
landscapes (Technical & Consumer Facing).
2. Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to conceptualize and
create new products.
3. Project Management: Lead product development projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and
within budget.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams
to ensure a successful product launch.
5. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life
planning.
6. Performance Analysis: Supporting strategy teams in analyzing product performance, collect
feedback, and make data-driven improvements to the product.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate and provide visibility on product updates
and progress to the leadership team and stakeholders.
8.Competition Product Analysis: Leading Competition Product Benchmarking and teardown analysis
and identification and implementation of any innovative measures in terms of technology and cost.
9.Enhancement of existing Products: Supporting Planning team to identify existing products
enhancement ideas by regularly taking Customer, Market and Quality feedback and lead the
implementation of Product Modification with effective management of ECR/ECN.
Critical Path Analysis:
1.Identify Key Tasks: Determine the essential tasks and dependencies involved in product
development.
2.Sequencing: Arrange these tasks in a logical order, considering their dependencies with the
support of Division R&D.
3.Estimate Durations: Estimate the time required for each task. It's essential to be realistic and
account for potential delays.
4.Critical Path Identification: Identify the critical path, which is the sequence of tasks that, if
delayed, will delay the entire project and results in sales loss.
5.Monitoring and Adjustment: Continuously monitor progress and adjust the plan as necessary to
keep the project on track.
