Q2 – What is the use of the Clone Stamp Tool?

Ans - Use of the Clone Stamp Tool
The Clone Stamp Tool is used to copy a part of an image and apply it over another area.
It allows you to duplicate pixels from one part of the image to cover imperfections,
unwanted objects, or other areas that need to be repaired.

Q3 – Write down the steps to make use of the Magic Eraser Tool.
Ans – Select the Magic Eraser Tool, In the options bar, adjust the Tolerance setting. A
lower value will select only pixels that are very similar in color, while a higher value will
erase a broader range of colors.
Click on the area in the image that you want to erase. The Magic Eraser will remove
pixels that match the color of the point you clicked, within the tolerance range.

Q4 – What is the Background layer? How can you hide a specific layer in Photoshop?
Ans - The Background layer in Photoshop is the bottom-most layer in an image that
usually acts as the base layer. It is typically locked, meaning you cannot move or modify it
freely unless you unlock it. The background layer is often a solid color or image that forms
the foundation of the composition.
Next to the layer name, you will see an eye icon. Click on the eye icon to hide the layer.
Click the empty box where the eye icon was, and it will reappear.
Q5 – Write the steps to convert the Background layer into a normal layer.
Ans – In the Layers panel, click on the Background layer to select it.
Double-click directly on the Background layer name. This will open the New Layer dialog
box.
In the dialog box, you can rename the layer. Click OK to convert the background into a
normal layer.

Q6 – Explain how you can apply a filter on an image.

Ans - Select the image. Go to the top menu and select Filter. From the dropdown menu,
choose the type of filter you want to apply.
Adjust any settings or sliders that appear in the dialog box for that filter. Once you are
happy with the effect, click OK to apply the filter to the image.
