While our country steadfastly regrows to its pre-colonial economic and social stature,
limit our society's holistic growth by overlooking an individual's merit; merit that
could've otherwise been used for the development of our country. At the Human Touch
Foundation, we have identified three major barriers and relentlessly work towards
resolving them. The three major barriers that we believe are prevalent in India are
economic gain. To promote equality of opportunity, and deter and punish instances of
sexual harassment, we have introduced our POSH Act initiative. The initiative, which
has been a tremendous success, helps Indian firms create a healthier work environment

plants at various schools, offices, public places, and local jails. As the president of the
Muskurahat Foundation , on behalf of our family, I pledge to pursue and promote the

public school. We are working hard in order to provide them with quality education.

AVOID THE USE OF PLASTIC:- Plastic bags are thrown after use prove to be
a major environmental hazard. They pollute the soil and affect vegetative growth. They
lead to infertile soil .Every year a large no. of animals and sea creatures die due to the
consumption of plastic bags. The Environmental awareness program was hosted by the
All India Women's Conference and the Muskurahat Foundation . We shared practical
government-run schools where the number of kids is 200+. We aim to teach the kids
atleast one skill before they move on to the senior secondary. So that they can have
different career opportunities which they lack because of the financial irregularities.

Plantation Drive by Human Touch Foundation :-
With the ongoing deforestation and urbanization, we are losing these small ecosystems which
have adverse effects on the environment, the rising temperature, irregular rains, and polluted
air and water can be seen substantially. We at Muskurahat Foundation aim to reduce these
adverse effects by planting more trees and spreading awareness on water and air pollution. In
April 2014, we established our first organic garden housing 14 feet high tomato plants, in
Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. With this implausible sounding feat, our ultimate objective with
this initiative was to motivate fellow urbanites to build their own vegetable gardens; thereby

HEALTH CHECKUP CAMPS:- There is nothing which is more important than good
health .We believe society is an important part of our lives and therefore health is very
important for the growth of the people with our consistent efforts and deeds we want to improve
the condition of the people. By keeping in mind the importance of health, Muskurahat

1st weekend:- We have visited Human Touch Foundation for community help. This
was the very first time for all us to do something for the community. On the first week
visit to NGO, we came up with the idea to distribute the food between the little stars.
After seeing their bright smile, we were overwhelmed with happiness. We went to
several places in greater Noida where All the co-workers supported us and finally food

had been distributed. Along with serving the food, we have also taught them "good
food habits". We sent each and every child for hand wash then we told them to dry up
their hands. Then we told them to thanks the god for giving the food. After eating food,
we told them to wash hands and rinse their mouths properly so that they never get
cavities. Every child was following the instructions and they were very pleased to learn
the good food habits. Therefore, I can say that our first day was very good. We enjoyed
every moment and every task gave us a heart full happiness. It also made me learn that

Oral health and hygiene sessionOn the second day, We have taught students about Oral
health and hygiene. We brought some of the pictures of decayed tooth and showed it to
every child. Then we asked them What can you see in this picture? Answer from them
was " We can see germs in the tooth". Our second question was - Do you know where
the germs come from ? Seeing that nobody could answer the question, we began with
our session. The germs have came to eat leftover food in your mouth. So, after eating
food we should properly rinse our mouth in order not to get any germs. If we will follow
up the below given points then we will never get cavities in our teeth.

told them the alternatives for the same, as there are many government schools nearby
which provides education with affordable fees. We explained them the importance of
education in today's world and how education can change their life. They can achieve all
the things that they wish for by getting education. we also talked to their parents and
discussed the issue with them and provided them with guidance for their children
education.
We concluded the session by asking children that what they want to become and telling
them that the key for achieving their goals is education itself.
4th weekend:-
Teachers play an essential role in the life of their students during school days and even
after school in the practical world. So, let’s learn about the role of a teacher.Teachers
provide the power of education to today’s youth, thereby giving them the possibility for
a better future.

Plantation-This weekend we were given task of planting trees across some areas in
Greater Noida. Trees play a critical role for people and the planet. Numerous studies have
demonstrated that the presence of trees and urban nature can improve people's mental and
physical health, children's attention and test scores, the property values in a
neighbourhood, and beyond. Trees cool our urban centres. Trees are essential for healthy
communities and people. The benefits that trees provide can help cities and countries meet

was for us and our future generations. And planting of trees are very important for the

6th Weekend:
Hopscotch activity-On the fifth and the last visit to the NGO we, conducted a
hopscotch ( hands and feet ) activity. To play the Hopscotch Hands and Feet Game we
simply took the printouts of hands and feet outline. Each row of hopscotch had combination
of 3 landing spaces. The landing space combination was of 2 feet with 1 hand or 2 hands
with 1 foot in alternative rows, with 8 rows. Then we laid out the sheets of hopscotch with

hands and feet, taped them to the floor and ask the students to start the game. Students
gathered around the area ,then we made them understand the rules of the game:-

are actual nonprofit organizations, various projects can be achieved without having to use

NGOs and this means that there will never be a lack of resources. Additionally, NGOs
provide a good alternative to creating mass access structures. These mass access structures
are extremely cumbersome, unreliable and costly. Another major advantage of NGOs is
that they have the capability of communicating at all levels. This means that they can
easily interact with the local people and relay their messages to top levels of the
government. They are also capable of recruiting highly motivated staff and experts with
lesser restrictions than employees working for the government. NGOs are flexible in
becoming accustomed to local conditions and responding to the local needs. For that
reason, they can experiment freely with new approaches and take risks if necessary. They
can develop integrated projects to help the local people. The major shortcoming of NGOs
is the overdependence on private financial resources, especially when the donors fail to
make their donations. Today, giving back to society is seen as one of the important duties
of every man and woman. India has the world’s largest number of active not-for-profit
NGOs – 31 lakh, which means one NGO for less than 400 Indians. "Through our

between our organization and the communities we serve. By actively engaging with
