How is digital learning going to change schools and
education?
INTRODUCTION
10
ADVANTAGES
Digital learning is transforming schools and education in several profound ways, bringing
numerous advantages for students, teachers, and educational systems overall. Here are
some of the key advantages of digital learning and how it is changing the landscape of
education:
DISADVANTAGES
While digital learning offers numerous advantages, it also comes with several disadvantages
that can affect students, teachers, and the overall education system. Here are some of
the key challenges and drawbacks:
CONCLUSION
11
Digital learning is poised to significantly transform schools and education by making
learning more accessible, personalized, and engaging. It opens up opportunities for
students to learn from anywhere and at any time, bridging gaps caused by geographical
and socio-economic barriers. With the use of technology, education can be tailored to
meet individual needs, allowing for self-paced learning and greater student
engagement through interactive tools like simulations, videos, and gamification.
At the same time, digital learning fosters collaborative environments, connecting students
and teachers across the globe, promoting teamwork, and helping develop digital literacy
skills essential for the modern workforce. Furthermore, teachers are empowered with
digital tools to enhance their instructional methods, track student progress, and offer real-
time feedback.
However, for digital learning to be fully effective, challenges like the digital divide, lack of
access to technology, and the potential for social isolation need to be addressed.
Additionally, schools must balance digital tools with traditional in-person methods to ensure
that students also develop critical social and practical skills.
Ultimately, digital learning represents a powerful shift in the education landscape, making
learning more inclusive, flexible, and interactive, but it requires careful planning, support,
and investment to ensure that all students benefit from this technological evolution. As we
move forward, a balanced integration of technology and traditional teaching methods will
likely define the future of education.
4.Power Motors has 3 branches all over Bhopal. Each branch maintains monthly sales of different models
of electric scooter and at the end of month mails it to the State Head. Prepare a consolidated sheet
that shows total and average sales made for each model of the electric scooter. You are required to
identify the column headings for the various branches, enter data in three different spreadsheets
indicating different branches and consolidate data to find total sales and average sales for each model.

5.Anshuman created a document on G20 Summit 2023. He asks two of his friends to review the
document and add comments to it using the Track Changes feature of Writer. After receiving the
review, Anshuman wanted to accept or reject changes made by his friends. Lastly, he wanted to
compare the original document with the changed one. Write the steps for Anshuman to complete the
given task using all the required features.
Theme: The theme for India's G20 presidency was "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam –
One Earth, One Family, One Future," reflecting a focus on collective global
responsibility, unity, and sustainability.
16
•Geopolitical Tensions: The summit addressed ongoing conflicts,
including the war in Ukraine and tensions in the Indo-Pacific region.
2. Major Outcomes:
• New Delhi Declaration: A consensus-based declaration outlining
commitments for tackling global challenges, such as climate change,
sustainable development, and ensuring equitable growth.
• India’s Presidency: India took over the G20 presidency from
Indonesia, and the country used its leadership to focus on inclusivity,
development, and unity in addressing global issues.
• Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Despite tensions between Russia and
Western nations over the war in Ukraine, the summit managed to
issue a statement calling for a peaceful resolution. The text
emphasized the importance of respecting international law and
sovereignty.
3. Key Participants: The summit was attended by the leaders of G20 member
states, including:
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi (India)
• U.S. President Joe Biden
• Chinese President Xi Jinping
• German Chancellor Olaf Scholz
• French President Emmanuel Macron
• Russian President Vladimir Putin (via video)
• Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula)
• U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
Several invited guest countries and international organizations, including the
United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the World Trade
Organization, also participated.
4. Global South Representation: India made efforts to ensure that the voices
of developing and least-developed countries were heard, advocating for
inclusive growth and attention to the concerns of the Global South. This
included discussions on sustainable development, debt relief, and climate
financing.
5. Success in Expansion: During the summit, the African Union (AU) was
granted full membership in the G20, expanding the group to 21 members.
This was seen as a historic step to increase African representation in global
decision-making.
17
Outcomes:
The summit was considered successful in terms of creating a broad consensus
on critical global issues. However, disagreements on certain issues, such as the
Russia-Ukraine conflict, led to some compromises in the final declaration,
leaving out certain details on geopolitical tensions.
Overall, the G20 Summit 2023 highlighted the importance of multilateralism,
shared global responsibility, and collective efforts in tackling both existing and
emerging challenges.
