products of combustion, such as smoke and toxic gases, ‫ﯾﻘﻮم ھﺬا اﻟﻨﻮع ﻣﻦ اﻻﻧﻈﻤﺔ ﺑﺎﺳﺘﺨﺮاج وﺳﺤﺐ اﻟﺪﺧﺎن ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﺒﺎﻧﻲ ﻣﺜﻞ اﻟﺪﺧﺎن‬
which could otherwise reduce visibility and impair human .‫ واﻟﺘﻲ ﯾﻤﻜﻦ أن ﺗﻘﻠﻞ اﻟﺮؤﯾﺔ وﺗﻀﻌﻒ ﻣﻘﺪرات اﻹﻧﺴﺎن‬، ‫واﻟﻐﺎزات اﻟﺴﺎﻣﺔ‬

6 Where a fire-resistant smoke extract duct passes through ‫ﻋﻨﺪﻣﺎ ﺗﻤﺮ دﻛﺘﺎت أﻧﻈﻤﺔ اﻟﺪﺧﺎن اﻟﻤﻘﺎوﻣﺔ ﻟﻠﺤﺮﯾﻖ ﺧﻼل ﺟﺪران ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺔ ﻟﻠﺤﺮﯾﻖ‬ 6
any other fire compartment which has a higher fire ‫ ﻓﺈﻧﮫ ﯾﺠﺐ ﺗﺼﻤﯿﻢ ھﺬا اﻟﺪﻛﺖ ﻟﻠﺤﺼﻮل ﻋﻠﻰ ﻧﻔﺲ ﺗﺼﻨﯿﻒ‬، ‫ذات ﺗﺼﻨﯿﻒ أﻋﻠﻰ‬

mandatory that all the smoke duct systems are installed ‫ دﻗﯿﻘﺔ ﺣﺘﻰ ﻟﻮ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ اﻟﻤﻘﺼﻮرة‬120 ‫دﺧﺎن ﺗﻤﺮ ﻋﺒﺮ اﻟﻤﻘﺼﻮرات ﻣﺼﻨﻔﺔ ﻟﻤﺪة‬
with a minimum 120 Minute fire resistance, it is ‫ ﯾﺠﺐ أن ﯾﻜﻮن اﻟﻨﻈﺎم ﻣﻄﺎﺑﻘﺎ ً ﻟﻤﺘﻄﻠﺒﺎت أﻧﺎﺑﯿﺐ ﺳﺤﺐ اﻟﺪﺧﺎن‬.‫ذات ﺗﺼﻨﯿﻒ أﻗﻞ‬
therefore a requirement that any smoke extract duct (4 ‫)اﻧﻈﺮ اﻟﻤﺮﺟﻊ رﻗﻢ‬
passing through compartments must be 120 minutes
rated even where a compartment may have a lower
rating. The system shall be as per the requirements of
smoke extract duct (See Ref No. 4)

7 For underground car park area (Either for sprinkler or ‫ﺑﺎﻟﻨﺴﺒﺔ ﻟﻤﻮاﻗﻒ اﻟﺴﯿﺎرات اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺼﻤﻢ ﺗﺤﺖ اﻟﻄﺎﺑﻖ اﻷرﺿﻲ )ﺳﻮاء ﻟﻤﺒﻨﻰ ذو‬ 7
non-sprinkler building), Smoke Duct System shall be ‫ ﯾﺠﺐ ان ﺗﻜﻮن ﺟﻤﯿﻊ اﻟﺪﻛﺘﺎت ) ﺳﺤﺐ‬، (‫ﻣﺮﺷﺎت ﻣﺎﺋﯿﺔ او ﺑﺪون ﻣﺮﺷﺎت ﻣﺎﺋﯿﺔ‬
tested and approved for all criteria ‫اﻟﺪﺧﺎن و وﺿﺦ اﻟﮭﻮاء( ﻣﺨﺘﺒﺮة وﻣﻌﺘﻤﺪة ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ اﻟﺪﻓﺎع اﻟﻤﺪﻧﻲ ﺑﺤﺴﺐ‬

9 It is a requirement that all such installed fire resisting ‫ﯾﺠﺐ ان ﯾﺘﻢ ﺗﺤﺪﯾﺪ و ﺗﻤﯿﯿﺰ ﺟﻤﯿﻊ أﻧﻈﻤﺔ ﻣﺠﺎري اﻟﮭﻮاء اﻟﻤﺜﺒﺘﺔ اﻟﻤﻘﺎوﻣﺔ ﻟﻠﺤﺮﯾﻖ‬ 9
duct systems are clearly labelled by the installer's / ‫ وذﻟﻚ ﻟﺘﻘﻠﯿﻞ ﻣﺨﺎطﺮ إﺿﻌﺎف‬,‫ اﻟﻤﻘﺎول داﺧﻞ اﻟﻤﺒﻨﻰ‬/ ‫ﺑﻮﺿﻮح ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ اﻟُﻤﺮﻛﺐ‬
contractor's so that the risk of their fire resistance being ‫ﻣﻘﺎوﻣﺔ اﻟﺤﺮﯾﻖ اﻟﺨﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﮭﺎ اذا ﺣﺪث اي ﺗﻌﺪﯾﻞ او ﺗﻐﯿﯿﺮ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺒﻞ طﺮف اﺧﺮ‬
compromised by modification by other parties is ‫ ﯾﺠﺐ أن ﺗﻜﻮن ﺟﻤﯿﻊ اﻟﺘﻌﻠﯿﻤﺎت اﻟﺨﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﺘﻌﺪﯾﻞ ﻓﻲ دﻟﯿﻞ ﺗﺴﻠﯿﻢ‬.‫ﻟﮭﺬه اﻟﻤﺠﺎري‬
lessened. All instructions on modification shall be in ‫اﻟﻤﻘﺎول وأي ﺗﻌﺪﯾﻞ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺜﻞ ھﺬه اﻟﺤﺎﻻت ﯾﺠﺐ أن ﯾﺘﻢ ﺑﻤﻮاﻓﻘﺔ ﻣﺴﺒﻘﺔ ﻣﻦ ﻣﮭﻨﺪس‬
contractor's handover manual and any modification in .‫اﻹطﻔﺎء‬
such cases shall be undertaken with the prior approval of
the fire engineer.
