Receiving your need for an Accountant, I opted to submit my Curriculum Vitae for your review. With my
background of accounting principles gained over the years, as well as administrative and organizational
skills, I feel confident in my ability to significantly function in your organization as an Accountant.
I have over the years achieved strategies in preparing financial documentation, analysis and reporting. I
equally possess complementary abilities in general administrative work, such as; filing, responding to
mails and data entries using Microsoft word and excel sheet format. Highlights of my background include:
1. Working as an Accounts and Administrative officer with Adventist Health International, provided
me skills in preparing credible financial reports using Sunplus Accounting package to give a
financial statements that are accepted according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP).
2. Working as Site Accounts Officer with AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria (APIN) gave me the
requisite Accounts and Administrative skill to prepare both Financial and Administrative reports
according to Donor Guidelines.
3. My experience working as a field staff with National Bureau of Statistics has shaped me to adopt
to any challenging situation, most especially when it comes to getting reliable data from outside
office environment to meet datelines.
4. With the skills acquired above, I was called upon two years ago to prepare a financial reporting
format for Hyde Memorial Secondary School Jengre. This I did using excel spreadsheet. The
template created, did not only benefit the Accounts Units, but also set the tone for daily
administrative task.
5. With my recent academic-based experience, graduating from Plateau State Polytechnic with a
HND in Public Administration and acquiring a professional certificate with Chartered Institute of
Public Management of Nigeria, coupled with my enthusiasm and dedication to achieving success,
I believe I will surpass your expectation for this role.
