The bar chart below describes some changes about the percentage of

people were born in Australia and who were born outside Australia
living in urban, rural and town between 1995 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and
make comparisons where relevant.

The graph shows the proportion of native and overseas0born Australian who are residing in different
types of 3 different locations. The chart compares data from 1995 and 2010.

Overall, it was clearly presented that in the selected years, majority of both citizenries were living in
urban areas. It has also been seen that the lowest population was those foreign-born who were at
countryside in 1995 and 2010.

In 1995, native Australian in the cities has accounted at an approximate of 50% followed by those were
on rural which was about 30%. This was followed by native residing town which was about 20%. On the
same year, a similar trend was also observed, wherein almost 60% of internationally- born Aussies who
were in the city. This was a proceeded by rural occupants which was 40% ( a fifth of overall percentage)
whereas town residents were just only a tenth of the whole population.

The percentage of urban-based native Australians has increased by approximately 20% in 2010 which
has the same growth for foreign-born residents with total of 80%. However, compared to 1995, nearly a
30% decline was observed from local and international-born rural inhabitants Identical trends was seen
for town residence.
