CULTURE AND ARTS COMPETITION

FIELD DEMONSTRATION
MECHANICS
1. The competition is open to all junior and senior high school students of LNHS.
2. Each curriculum is composed of a minimum of 70% of the total number of
enrollees and has no maximum limit of participants.
3. Dance should follow the field demonstration dancing routine and should be 5-
7 minutes only. (ENTRANCE AND EXIT IS INCLUDED). Beyond this limit, a total of
five (5) points will be deducted from the group's total score.
4. The members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any
combination thereof.
6. The Group can use any song of their choice but the routine should be able to
incorporate the “Philippines Culture and sports” theme in their dance.
6. The use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke or combustible materials as props is
not allowed.
7. Any team proven in violation of the rules & regulations will be automatically
disqualified from the event.
8. Decision of judges is final and non-appealable.

 CONTEMPORARY DANCE
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. The competition is open to all junior and senior high school students of LNHS.
2. Each group will have a minimum of 10 and a maximum 15 members.
3. Participants can choose any theme and music (one song or medley) for as
long as the dance style has an influenced of jazz, modern lyrical and ballet.
4. Use of props is allowed but not necessary.
5. The following is strictly not allowed in the performance:
• Performance of dangerous stunts and routines
• Acrobatic routines (except gymnastic split)
• Use of water, fire, flammable items and vehicles
6. Each contender is given a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of four (5)
minutes to perform.
7. Costume must be related to the theme or genre that has chosen by
contender.
8. The decision of the Judges is final and irrevocable.

 MEKANIKS SA DAGLIANG TALUMPATI
1.Ang pamagat ng paligsahan ay “DAGLIANG TALUMPATI.”
2.Ang mga kalahok ay mga piling mag-aaral mula sa Ikapito hanggang
Ikalabindalawang Baitang sa hayskul.
3.Bago magsimula, isang palabunutan ang gagawin upang tiyakin ang bilang at
pagkakasunod-sunod ng mga kalahok. Lahat ng kalahok ay uupo at mananatili sa
entablado.
4.Ang paksa o isyu ng talumpati ay may kaugnayan sa Tema ng ating
Intramurals:“Empowering the Role of Sports, Culture and Arts for Students’ Holistic
Development,”na bubunutin ng kalahok mula sa isang lalagyan. Siya ay bibigyan ng 3
minuto para mag-isip at 3 minuto rin upang magtalumpati.
5.Babasahin ng guro ng palatuntunan ang paksang nabunot ng kalahok bago siya
magtalumpati.
6.Hindi pahihintulutan ang paggamit ng cellphone o anumang gadget at pagdadala ng
mga sanggunian o handout, kopya ng anumang kuwento, costume, props, musical
instrument o iba pang katulad.
7.Kapag nakita ng kalahok ang watawat na berde, ito ang hudyat na maaari na siyang
magsalita, dilaw kung may 1 minuto na lamang ang natitira at pula kung tapos na ang
3 minuto.
8.Tatlo ang magwawagi sa paligsahan: Kampeon, Unang gantimpala,Ikalawang
gantimpala.
9.Ang desisyon ng mga hurado ay pinal at di na mapasusubalian pa.

BANNER MAKING CONTEST MECHANICS AND CRITERIA

1. Each team is required to join the Banner Making Contest.
2. The team could choose a do-it-yourself (DIY) or tarpaulin banner.
3. The theme of the banner should be relevant to the chosen name of the
team:
G7-The Invincible Green
G8-Dazzling Gold
G9- The Dauntless Blue
G10- Flaming Red
G11- Unstoppable Pink
G12- Blazing Orange
4. The banner should be measured 2 feet width and 3 feet length. Banner
must meet the size requirements. Failure to follow the measurement will
have a demerit of 1 point per inch.
5. The decision of the panel of judges is FINAL and IRREVOCABLE.

BANNER RAISING MECHANICS

1. Each team will provide a 7-meter bamboo pole, a small rope, and a pulley.
Participants from the team will help put up their poles for banner raising
before the actual day of the game.
2. The game will be participated by the representatives from each team, one
male and one female.
3. The game will start right after a teacher says, “3,2,1, go!”
4. The representatives will run towards the rope and they will tie the rope to
the banner and will raise up to the top.
5. After the banner is raised and tied up to the pole, both will run directly to
the designated place.
6. The team that makes it back first to their designated place will be
proclaimed the winner of the game.

3. Team leader must submit the name of the finalist on or before November 3,
2023.
4. Candidates must submit parent’s consent signed by parent/guardian allowing
their child to join the pageant.

9. Meetings, practices, and other information will be posted in the bulletin board
of the school and disseminated to the class team adviser/coach.
10. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

1. The candidates should attend to the scheduled pictorial on November 4, 2023
at 7:30 A.M.
2. The candidates will provide the following:

c. There will be no re-shooting.
3. The selection for this award are as follows:

E. CRITERIA FOR PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

1. The winner of the award is based on the garnered amount per team and
online voting.
2. Each candidate must provide a box with picture and it will place on its
designated section. The amount garnered will be done on the day of the
pageant, November 11, 2023.
3. For online voting, 1 (HEART) React = 1 Vote for your chosen photo (Candidate
with the highest votes on their photo will be the winner)
4. AUTO-LIKE and VOTE BUYING ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED (Once caught and
validated, it would automatically be a cause for disqualification.) The timeline
for this is from November 14, 2023 at 6:00 A.M. to November 17, 2023 at 12:00
A.M.).
5. The candidate who garnered the highest amount and online vote will be
declared as the winner.
6. A separate award for People's Choice Award for Female and People's Choice
Award for Male.
8. Each team must secure technique on how to win this category.

 SPORTS EVENT MECHANICS

CATEGORY
BADMINTON

I. Participation and Qualifications

a) Participants must be a bonafide student of Lampitak National High School.
b) Players must be listed on the official list to participate in the game.
c) Each Curriculum must present ten (8) players. It consist of five (5) boys
and five
(5) girls.
d) Each player, will only have one category as listed on the official list.
e) There will be no substitution if the player on the list is not available.
f) Swapping categories of the players is strictly prohibited.
g) There will be four categories for boys and girls; Singles A, Singles B,
Doubles and mixed doubles.

II. Requirement
a) Players need to secure their own rackets.
b) They will also provide their own shuttlecocks.
c) Wearing Curriculum attire are required for each player as well as proper
footwear.
d) Accessories that may cause accident during the game is not advisable.
e) Misconduct inside the court in prohibited.
f) Respect to the authority is necessary. Any players mocking the officials
will be given penalty and worst, will be kick out of the game.
III. Rules
a) A match consists of 30 points.
b) The player/pair winning a rally adds a point to its score.
c) At 29-all, the side scoring the 30th point wins that game.
d) Category-double elimination tournament is applied to this game.

1. All matches will be played in SBM room
2. All chess pieces and boards will be provided by the Chess Committee.
3.Teams will consist of one (1) person for Male and one (1) person for Female

5. This event will be a Double Elimination Tournament.
6. There will be a one 30 minutes on completion of match.

If the match is not completed within the one (30) minutes limit, the winner
will be decided off of points captured
