1. A square pyramid edge of the base 40 mm axis length 70 mm, stands with its base on HP with two sides of the base
parallel to VP. It is cut by an Auxiliary Inclined Plane (AIP) inclined at 60° to the HP and passing through a point on the
axis 40 mm from base. Draw the development of surfaces of pyramid.

2. A pentagonal prism side of base 30 mm and axis 60 mm long is kept on HP in such a way that one of its base edges is
parallel to the VP and near to the observer. A cutting plane bisects its axis at 45º. Draw the development of lateral
surfaces the pentagonal prism.

3. Draw the development of lateral surface of a hexagonal pyramid having base edge 30 mm, axis height 80mm, is kept on
HP in such a way that one of its base edges is perpendicular to VP.

4. A right cylinder of 50mm diameter and 70mm height of axis is cut by a section plane inclined at 30º to HP and passes 30
mm from base along the axis. Draw a development of truncated cylinder.

5. Draw the development of surface of the cone having base diameter 50 mm and axis height 70 mm. if it is cut by cutting
plane which bisects the axis of the cone and inclined at 45° with the H.P.

6. A square pyramid with side of base 30 mm and axis 50 mm long, is resting on its base on H.P., with as edge of the base
parallel to V.P. It is cut by a section plane, perpendicular to V.P. and inclined at 45° to H.P. The section plane is passing
through the mid point of the axis. Draw the development of the surface of the cut Pyramid.

7. A pentagonal pyramid, side of base 30 mm and height 50 mm, stands with its base on HP and an edge of the base is
parallel to VP and nearer to it. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to VP. Inclined at 40° to HP and passing through a point
on the axis, 30 mm above the base. Draw the sectional top view. Develop the lateral surface of the pyramid.

8. A Cube of side 40 mm is resting on HP with its base on HP such that one of its vertical faces is inclined at 30° to the VP.
It is cut by a section plane perpendicular to VP, inclined to HP at an angle 45° passes through the midpoint of the axis.
Draw the development of the lower lateral surface of the cube.

9. Draw the development of surface of a cylinder having base diameter 50 mm and axis height 80 mm. Kept on HP. it is cut
by a cutting plane which is inclined at 45 with H.P. and bisecting the axis of cylinder.
