Nhi: Hey, how was your vacation? Is everything as same as your dream?

Thư: That’s such a wonderful trip ever that I had made!

Nhi: So, how about you? Does your journey make you run out of energy as your wish?

Thư: It’s better than mine a thousand times! I had an internship in my dream company –
Unilever. This journey is stressful, but besides that, I have learned a bunch of things for my
career to get a ticker to be a member in there at last!

Nhi: Wow! This news makes me a surprise! Congratulation! Your dream becomes true! So does
that means you will move to that urban centers soon?

Thư: Exactly! I will move there for about three years to participate and I wait for long this
occasion! this city would help you meet lots of people, while some of them give you a wide
range of views, cause they come from various social classes, nations.

Nhi: I think my point of view is opposite to yours. I would like something in peace cause day by
day, I have lots of pressure. So I think I want to migrate to cities to isolate stress out of my
head and I run my life by myself.

Thu: Don't you worry about backward customs? Like they would be strict with you with their
superstitions.

Nhi: Don't be concerned, I have thought about that. I will deal with everything before I decide
to turn my life.

Thu : Wow, it seems like the first time I know about you! I’m really surprise about your
character. Nhi: I prefer quiet and you are enthusiastic, so that means we are
opposite and that is what we attract other.

Nhi: Hey! It’s too long time since our last meet!

Thư : Yeah ~ I miss you so much darling! How are you going?

Nhi: Well, everything is going well! I’m working for my dream company

Thư: Wow! Congratulation! It’s great to hear your good news! You have to courage and be
your best every to reach there!

Nhi: Yes, it’s really a long story and I have to keep try on everyday.

Thư: I can see your changes. I remember for your images in last 10 years. You were not like
this. You were so timid and afraid everything.

Nhi: Everything need time and practice to be its best! So how about you? You don’t look
energy as much as past. Everything is ok?

Thu: Well, I have try to be better but I got lots of troubles. I can’t stand firmly in the stress I
made a lot of mistake and then I thought that I could do anything better after that. So I gave up
and pass each by chance.
Nhi: Hm, in my point . You could do everything by yourself and you just need one thing to do
that… the influence.

Thu : Could you make it more clearly?

Nhi: In the past, you were not afraid anything, cause everytime you did it, you have a reason or
the goal to reach – as I remember is your ex. And now you did not found the goal to reach that
you couldn’t done anything.

Thu : Wow, you’re really my best friend! You know exactly what I got trouble in!

nhi : just 5 to 10 years, everything change. But it becomes positive or negative is depend on
each person’s mind.

Thu : I agree your idea. Cause nothing on this earth could affect your decides or actions.

Nhi: Wow! What a beautiful dress! Where did you found it? I’m looking for that style for long!

Thu : Thank you.I just bought it online during the last sale of Shopee! It’s sale off up to 70% so,
I decide to buy it.

Nhi: How dare you buy thing online! I heard here are many problems about their quality and
price so I’m scare to buy anything online. If I need to buy it, I will go to the store.

Thu : Well, in fact, I usually go out to buy everything in needed, but this time I surfed on the
internet and it looked so damn good and I took a chance to try it. Unexpectedly, the results
were not so bad.

Nhi: So that means you are really lucky! Last time I tried to order a vase, but when it arrived it
was already broken

Thu : I agree that buying online is indeed a bunch of risks, but nowadays there are many
policies to protect buyers. For exemple this dress, if the goods purchased do not have quality
assurance, I can exchange them or refund up to 200%.

Nhi: But sometimes when I buy online, I can't check the goods. And when I buy it at the store, I
can find many other things.

Thu : Well, everyone have their own opinion. In my mind, after this time, I feel more
sympathetic towards electronic platforms, so I think if I need to buy it but it's not urgent, I will
prioritize buying online.

Nhi: Hello, do you have a new schedule for your next semester?
Thu : Of course! And I’m so happy cause I could stay at home to learn ^^ I hate to go outside

Nhi: Oh, I have online semester too, but I don’t happy at all

Thu : Why?? You could stay at home and wear whatever you want. You don’t scare about fall
as sleep in class and teacher will call you!

Nhi: I know, but I still don’t like it. It makes me bored! I feel it difficult to connect with teacher,
and sometime while my connection is errupted, I don’t know how to fix it to return to class.

Thu : Well, I don’t like to contact with teacher at all. Beside of wearing polite clothes,
sometime they reply my question too slow. And I hate that so much.

Nhi: Anything else ?

Thu : Hm, let me see, I hate to be call directly on class, it’s make me uncomfortable cause if I
don’t know the answer, I will be a joke at class, nobody want that.

Nhi: Well, I agree some of them with you, but have you ever think that the computers just
have one way to behave to us, while the teacher could us a bunch of emotions or ways to say
to contact to us.

Thu : Ok, that’s a good opinion, but I still protect my mine, cause I still hate contact to human. I
want to choose my computer and my bed to stay at home and learn with my way.

Nhi: Okay, hope your semester is going well as your wish.

Topic 10

Thu : Hey, do you have any plan after graduate?

Nhi : I’m planning to be an freelancer

Thu : A freelancer? It takes lots of risks! And your salary won’t be permanent, you could be
running out of budget in month

Nhi : Oops!? I didn’t hear about them

Thu : To be a freelancer, you have to exchange lots of things. Those includes with health, time,
your freedom also your money. You have to take your job by yourself, it's not easy to find!. For
about money, maybe you could get risks to lost them. And the last, about your health.
Sometime you have to work even day or night to collect and finish the required of clients.

Nhi : Well, those are risks but I think my passion is bigger. Cause to be a freelancer, I can be
more active in my schedule and my work. If I feel tired, I can stop receive the request or order
from clients.

Thu : Okay, if you prepare for your career, I believe that you could do it by your best. Anytime
you have trouble, I could call me. Hope your career will be success!
