After graduation, I joined the Bangladesh Tool & Technology Institute (BITAC) as a CAD/CAM
and CNC Milling Trainer (Apprenticeship). Over seven months, I designed and delivered
comprehensive training programs covering CNC programming, advanced machining strategies,
and milling techniques. I tailored these programs to diverse audiences, ranging from entry-level
technicians to seasoned engineers, incorporating hands-on labs, virtual simulations, and cutting-
edge industry tools to create an immersive learning environment.
My journey in engineering was inspired at a young age by a question: how do Chinese engineers
achieve cost-efficient manufacturing? This curiosity evolved into a passion for mechanical
design and manufacturing, shaping my academic and professional trajectory. Today, my
experiences have fueled a clear vision—to address gaps in Bangladesh’s industrial ecosystem,
particularly in the automotive sector, by driving innovation in advanced manufacturing.
As a Master’s student, I aim to delve into research areas that align with the evolving needs of the
global manufacturing industry, including:
Sheet Metal Product Design and Analysis: Investigating micro-fracture mechanics, spring-
back phenomena, and dual-phase steel behavior under combined thermal and mechanical loads.
Tool Coating Technologies: Enhancing coating methods to optimize material flow and
minimize wear under stress.
These research interests are deeply tied to my long-term goal of fostering a self-reliant
manufacturing ecosystem in Bangladesh. Upon completing the program, I aspire to return to my
entrepreneurial venture, apply the knowledge gained to develop sustainable manufacturing
practices, and contribute to reducing our reliance on imported technologies while creating local
employment opportunities.
What draws me to your program is its emphasis on innovation, interdisciplinary research, and
collaboration with industry leaders. I am particularly excited about the prospect of learning from
distinguished faculty and engaging with peers who are equally passionate about advancing
mechanical engineering. I believe this program will provide the platform I need to refine my
technical acumen and realize my vision for transforming the manufacturing industry.
Sincerely,
