4328 Grade 6-8 Pre - Annual Examination Instructions
2. Students should wear neat and clean school uniform on all exam days, wear their ID cards
and carry their almanac without fail every day to school.
3. Students should be punctual. Students should report to school by 7:50 a.m. on all exam
days. Students coming after 8:00 a.m. will not be allowed to write the exam at any cost.
(unless authorized by the Principal)
4. Students will not be allowed to go home after the exam for any reason when classes are
conducted in school after the examination. If in any case the student leaves without prior
approval, the school will take disciplinary action.
5. Students are not allowed to stand outside the examination hall before or after the exam or
visit/enter other exam rooms.
6. Students are not allowed to carry any kind of electronic gadgets (digital/smart watches,
calculators, mobile phones, pagers etc.). If any electronic gadget is found in the exam
hall, the same shall be confiscated and will not be returned. Student will be marked
absent for the respective exam for the day.
7. Students are required to bring their own stationery items and mathematical instruments in
a transparent pouch.
8. No borrowing /lending or exchange of any material is allowed during the exam.
9. Avoid taking pencil boxes and spectacles cases to your desks.
10. Only essential writing materials are allowed on the student’s desk.
11. All bags/lunch bags and books should be left outside the respective exam hall neatly
arranged.
12. Answer booklets will be issued by the invigilators only. DO NOT FORGET to fill all the
necessary details.
13. The question papers will be distributed at 8:40 am. Check the course title to ensure you
have the correct examination question paper. Students should not write anything on
the question paper except their name and roll number.
14. Student should write their answers in black or blue pen. Make sure you bring spare pens
with you. (Answers written using a pencil will be considered invalid except for diagrams,
graphs etc.)
15. Use of whitener/correction pen/red or green ink is strictly prohibited.
16. If students change the pen, they should obtain invigilator’s signature on the answer sheet.
17. Students are not permitted to pass their question paper or answer book to other students.
18. Any case of unfair means, malpractice or discussion shall be reported to the Exam Cell.
(Also refer to point number 23 regarding malpractices).
19. Students should return all the answer sheets/maps/graph sheets/supplements (used or
unused) to the invigilator. Any sheet taken outside the exam hall will not be accepted
back/evaluated.
20. If any student is found carrying any official exam material outside the exam room strict
disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
21. Students should answer the MCQs by writing the correct option along with the correct
answer. In case if student writes only correct answer or only the correct option then the
question will not be evaluated.
22. Students should mention the number of extra supplements taken on the main sheet.
For example: 1 Main sheet + ___ supplements + ____ graph + ____ map
(according to the subject)
23. Malpractices: The following will be considered as malpractice:
1. Writings on the desk relevant to the examinations.
2. Verbal/non-verbal or oral communication with neighbouring candidate.
3. Objectionable writings in the answer book/question paper.
4. Possession of any incriminating materials inside the examination hall (Whether used
or not).
5. Written or printed materials, writings on scale, calculator, eraser, handkerchief,
handbooks, dress or any part of the body, possession of organizer etc.
6. Copying from neighbour.
7. Possession of the answer book of another candidate.
8. Giving answer book to another candidate/taking answer book from another candidate.
9. Exchange of question papers and other materials with some answers.
10. Misbehavior in the examination hall (Disobedience, unruly conduct in the examination
hall), carrying mobile phone or any sort of electronic gadgets.
11. Forgery in any part of records submitted.
12. Changing/rearranging allotted seats in exam hall.

AFTER THE PRE-ANNUAL EXAMINATION.
• IF THE STUDENT IS UNWELL THEN PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM
TO SCHOOL FOR WRITING THE EXAM.
• ATTENDANCE FOR THE EXAMINATION IS COMPULSORY AND
NO RE-EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
