    1 Verify that materials are approved and
    comply with the contract documents.
    2 Verify that materials are properly stored and
    protected.
    3 Inspect materials for damage.

    4 Verify that shop drawings are approved by


    the architect.
    5 Verify that copies of the performance
    requirement tests specified, or certificates,
    have been submitted and approved before
    delivery of material.
    6 Verify that weep holes are not obstructed by
    sealant or glazing compound.
    7 Verify that curtain wall components are set
    plumb, square, level, and that they fit
    prepared openings within specified
    tolerances.
    8 Check finish of components such as windows,
    mullions, and panels for shipping scratches or
    scratches occurring during erection.
    9 Verify that protection of adjoining work and/or
    erected curtain wall is provided.
    10 Verify that, if a leak test if required, a field
    inspector was present.
    11 Verify that debris, especially spray
    fireproofing, is removed from within curtain
    sections after erection.
    12 Verify that exterior is maintained reasonably
    clean after erection, especially free from
    cementitious materials.
    13 Verify that corrective actions have been
    performed where required.
    14 Verify that required reports and other
    documentation have been completed,
    compiled, and retained.
