LEARNING GUIDE: ASYNCHONOUS ENGLISH CLASS

1. Type of clothing. Review the vocabulary by reading the words. Practice the pronunciation
of them.

2. Look at the potos and describe the clothes these people are wearing today. Use the
prompt “She’s wearing …”

Example:
She’s wearing a dark blue crewneck, gray jeans, and white sneaker

She’s wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
B. He is wearing sky blue shorts, a red cap, a dark blue jacket,
and white shoes.

C. She is wearing a black dress, black pumps, and a grey watch.

D. He is wearing a sky blue shirt, blue jeans, brown boots, a brown


belt, and black sunglasses.

E. He is wearing grey sweatpants, a grey sweater, and white


sneakers.
3. Describe what type of clothing you are wearing today. Use the prompt: I’m wearing…
I'm wearing white shorts, a pink t-shirt, white sneakers, a silver watch, and glasses._

4. GRAMMAR: Uses of object pronouns


● Objects pronouns are little words used to replace proper nouns.

● Use them after the verbs or after prepositions.

Example:

We are buying a red dress.


Explanation: a red dress is the direct object of the sentence. Let’s change it!

We are buying it.


Explanation: it refers to a singular noun, in this case, to the dress.

5. Complete the mini conversation with a object pronoun. I highlighted the direct object in
each sentence.

A: Did you buy the green sweatpants?
B: Yes, I bought them yesterday.

2. A: Should I buy this crewneck over here?
