    Educational and Professional Background:


    I (Muhammad Haider Akhtar) hold a BS in Computer Science from UET Lahore (2024),
    where I developed a strong foundation in Computer Science through coursework in Machine
    Learning, Image Processing, and programming languages like Python and C++. My final year
    project, Urdu Scriptex, involved creating a real-time Urdu OCR system using CNN models,
    reflecting my ability to apply AI concepts to practical problems.

    Professionally, as a Python Developer at OES Consulting, I enhanced document


    processing through OCR and NLP techniques, leveraging tools like Tesseract and OpenCV. My
    internship at CLE, UET Lahore, allowed me to explore CNNs and language models, further honing
    my skills in text recognition and image processing. Additionally, I've worked on AI-driven
    projects, including a Borehole Log Analyzer and an OCR Enhancement System, solidifying my
    expertise in machine learning and AI applications.

    Why the United Kingdom?


    The United Kingdom is a global hub for education, attracting students from around the
    world with its world-renowned universities and diverse range of degree programs. The UK’s
    streamlined visa process and student-friendly policies make it an ideal destination for international
    students. While considering my options for studying abroad, I found the UK to be a safer and more
    welcoming environment compared to other countries. Its multicultural society is particularly
    supportive of international students, offering a rich cultural experience alongside academic
    excellence. Moreover, UK degrees are highly regarded worldwide, enhancing career prospects
    globally.
