- Decimal System - Base 10 ( 0-9 )
- Octal System - Base 8 ( 0-7 )
- Hexadecimal System - Base 16 ( 0-9, A-F )

CONVERSION OF DECIMAL TO BINARY:

1. Divide the number by 2.

2. Write the quotient and the remainder on its corresponding column.
3. Get the quotient and divide it again by two. Write the quotient and remainder in its column.
4. Continue dividing until the quotient results to zero. Always write its quotient and remainder in its
column.
5. Copy the remainder from bottom to top. That's the binary equivalent of the number.

CONVERSION OF BINARY TO DECIMAL:

1. Starting with the rightmost digit, list all of the exponents of 2. The firt power would be 2⁰ and as we
move on to the left side it will be 2¹, 2², 2³ and so on.
2. Now we multiple each digit in the binary number starting from the right with its respective weight
based on its position and evaluate the product.
3. Finally, sum up all the products obtained for all the digits in the binary number, which will give the
decimal equivalent.

LAW OF EXPONENTS:
Zero Exponent Law - a⁰ = 1

Identity Exponent Law - a¹ = a
