1. Brief Introduction Secondly, you can switch on AppLock and

go into login page.
Application Name: AppLock
Summary of functions: A launcher

application in which you can config user
permissions such as whitelist apps,auto-run
apps and user settings.
Product Feature: Compatible for all EDA

series device of Honeywell BCC Mobility. Fit
for Android KK, N,O,P platform.
Common usage: logistics warehouse,

supermarket, hospital ,etc.
2. Usage Introduction In
Detail. 3) Login page

In this page, system launcher and
notification panel will be locked. There will

menu.
4) Admin Account Home Page

On this screen you will see all system and
3rd part applications installed. Click on icons
to open application, and long click on single
icon you can see an “App info” menu, from
this menu you can look for the detail of this 6) Admin settings page
app and uninstall if is 3rd part app.
Click “Settings” menu on step 5, you will go
to admin settings page, all the setting items
will be introduced in detail from step 7 to
step 20.
8) Account register page
Input username and password, then click
“Next”.
Click “Manage users” menu you will go to

account list page.

There exists an admin user in account list, 9) Select whitelist apps
and you can create a new user via “Create
new user” menu.
10) Select autorun apps user in account list, click it you can edit the
user configuration.

Select setting items for the new created
user. You can edit the selected user
configurations, delete user, reset user
password, show user QR code, etc. The QR
code can be used for “Scan Deploy”
function, which will be introduced on step
17.
12) Create new user success

Finish create new user, you will return to
account list page, and you will see a new
14) Logout verify If enable MTP menu(with tag 2 on step 14)
is checked, you can connect your device to
PC via MTP automatically when you login as
any user.
16) Export configurations

The menu with tag 3 on step 14.
If logout verify menu(with tag 1 above) is

checked, you need to input password when
logout(as show below).
When export success, you will find an

AppLock.xml file under the path of “Internal
Storage/honeywell/applock”, you can copy
this file to other devices to the same path
or path ”IPSM/honeywell/applock”, after
reboot the new device the configurations
will take effect. Also, you can scan a
barcode generated by EZConfig desktop
utils to copy the AppLock.xml file.
Note: After android N, you should turn on

Provisioning Mode on your device to access
“honeywell” directory to copy file.
15) Enable MTP connection.

You can scan a QR code export on step 13
to deploy a new user, or reset admin
17) Scan deploy password by scanning admin QR code.

18) Edit about information

Menu with tag 2 in the figure on step 17
will check for the newest version on server,
you can choice to download and update it
or not.
20) Exit AppLock

You will exit AppLock by switching off this
menu.
21) Common user home page

Logout admin account, then login as new
user, you will go to common user home
page.
After saving your input info, the new info

will display on the “About info” dialog. This
dialog can be alert via “About” menu in user
menu on step 5.

If you have connected your device to

network, after clicking this menu, applock

can be touched.
You can access whitelist apps only on this

page and will find only the notification of
whitelist apps.
3. Extended functions
AppLock v4.0.1 have some new features

related to MDM platform, and need to co-
work with litemdm-agent to support those
functions listed below.
1) Display mdm platform related

information
When mdm agent received some
information from MDM platform, at the
same time those information will be shown
on the bottom of AppLock home page. And
Common user have permission of loging out network info, OS version, applock and agent
current user, access certain user settings version info will also been shown there to
and read “About” information. be used by MDM platform.
2) Support MDM platform fetch and
push configuration function.
After connect your device to MDM platform
via mdm agent, you can fetch you applock
configuration from one device on MDM
platform and then push the configuration to
other connected devices, then the
configuration will take effect immediately.
