Prayer

and you support each other during discussion and praying together, you win more souls

The need for Holy Spirit support : When going out have strong faith in Holy Spirit
support : to protect, comfort, bring peace, brings things back to your memory

name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you)

Having positive mind when going out : have personal positive mind gives you
confidence, courage, focus and ready to face the challenges in witnessing. Have the
mind of going out to enjoy your evangelism

(JESUS enjoyed HIS evangelism preaching when he was preaching of Father and HIS
Kingdom, Paul, Peter, Steven, Philip all have a positive mind in evangelising the Gospel of
CHRIST

Having an open mind attitude: Disregard Sex, race, culture, age, religion try to reach
out to every one you come across. share leaflets with everyone that are interested in
them. :Your mission is to share the love of JESUS with everybody. (Reading as a multi
cultural town)

Organise your tracks and know the content in them,(it means reading your tracks at
home before going out, it helps to remember the bible quote in it: You can ask if you can
read the tracts to the guest, this helps you to express yourself better when witnessing )

Marking common bible verses in your bible can help you make a quick reference to

Having training before going out on evangelism helps to develop confidence in
witnessing, it makes you enjoy your witnessing, it prepares you for better witnessing, it
gives you awareness what you will face and what you can face on your witnessing.

You can have training on line, from the church, church can invite an evangelist trainer

Dressing : dress smartly (check for weather )and simple. And put on comfortable shoes.

Find an open and noiseless to station, (market, super market, town centre, train
station, university, colleges, stadium, parks)

Find a people flowing location

Approach people with smile it captures their attention(it shows you have interest in
them or you have something to offer them)

Start your first approach with greetings: hello , Are you enjoying today’s weather , are
you from this town, are you enjoying yourself today :

discussion question, will you like to go to Heaven or Hell when you died: Have you had
about JESUS before, Have you been to church before,

Did you have Christians in your family, Did you think you are a sinner, what did the
bible says about sinner, Did you know why sinners can not go to Heaven(RM6:23 for the
wages of sin is death), Did you know that there is a punishment for sinning (RM 3:23 For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God ), What religion did you belong.

After asking question above, please wait for your guest response(wait for their
feedback)

Start your conversation from the feedback from the guest, be positive with their
respond and go alone with their respond, show understand of their respond. But let
your mission carry more weight in your discussion( JESUS Salvation)

Talk slowly and clearly during your conversation and be a good listener

Let your discussion be simple and short , avoid politics topic because of distraction

pay more attention to main area of your mission, salvation, sin, forgiveness,
repentance, going to Heaven .( why did we need it, what is the important of it currently
and after death, it, How you can receive your salvation through CHRIST JESUS)

make sure to reference the bible Rm 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God , 6:23 for the wages of sin is death, JH 3:16 For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life, 1JH 1:19 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will
forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
During your conversation with your guest, allow her to ask any question she feel like.
Make sure you take time to explain unclear question to her and ask if she was ok with
your answer to her question. Please don’t put your guest in half answered question , it
can confuse them and get discouraged.

You can come out with your children if you feel comfortable with them and they are
mature enough( children loves evangelism, and they can be allow to give out leaflets on
street with the guidance of elder person)

whether your evangelism went well or not, thank God for sending you out , carryout
personal assessment on your strength and your area of weakness(memory verse)

Targeted area for evangelism outreach are: train station, parks, town centre, schools
and universities and colleges

Try to study the culture of the area: what people like or what interest them.

Spend more time with the homeless people, parent with children, couples, young
person or elderly or group of people because they needed clear understanding of Gospel

You can use banner to display the word of GOD Like JESUS is the way, truth and life(Jh
14:6): For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
