Department: BSD Idi No: Group A Topic: Footmat for effective teaching and learning PRESENTATION STEP 1: DEFINITION OF THE FOOTMAT Footmat is mat placed at the entrance of a room, building, or vehicles to provide a surface for people to step into when entering. STEP 2: FUNCTIONS AND USES a. Cleaning: trap dirty, dust and moisture from shoes, keep floor clean. b. Safety: provide traction, reducing the risks of slipping on smooth surface. c. Hygine: act as a barriers preventing germs and bacterials from entering. STEP 3: MATERIALS USED IN MAKING THE FOOTMAT 1. Empty bag of cement 2. Baias material (Yard) and Setting 3. Scissors 4. Threat 5. Niddle STEP 4: HOW WE MAKE THE FORMAT/PROCESS Firstly we cut the empty bags of cement that we mention earlier in to a design of our choice to used it as a back of the format than we used the material treads to cover empty bag of cement that cut. The we cited scissors to cut the baias in to pieces and sew it on the material feared and finally fixed at together using a sawing made but in the protect B of the format we used niddle and threat to fixed the pieces of the baias. STEP 5: NATURE OF THE FOOTMAT 1. One of it is Triangle by shape, and its multi color. 2. The second one Circle by shape, and it also its multi color. 3. The third one heart by shape, also it multi color. STEP 6: HOW DOES THE FOOTMART EFFECT TEACHING AND LEARNING 1. It help leaners to understand different colours 2. It help to understand sharp, i.e. Triangle, Circle and Heart are the shape used on the foot mat. 3. It help them in term of hygine, as foot mart used as a door mat to prevent germs and bacterial from entering room.
