form. The ECM uses state-of-the-art hybrid

manifold (gasoline only).
• EST and HEI distributors and coils are
available in kit form.

Vortec™ Engines: Uncompromised Power
Vortec Engines are GM Powertrain's premier engine line for trucks and
SUVs. Motorsports events and on-the-job performance have proven
that Vortec Engines deliver outstanding power with no sacrifice in fuel
efficiency.
Equally important to industrial engine users is the fact that Vortec
Engines are designed to require very little maintenance while providing
extraordinary reliability.

Hydraulic roller valve lifters and roller rocker arms


help provide smooth, quiet and efficient operation.

A counter-rotating balance shaft

The new Integral Air Fuel Module


(IAFM) incorporates several
features into one integral assembly.
The bottom of the inlet manifold is
made of iron and the top is made
of aluminum. Integrated into the
module are a stainless steel fuel rail,
