Day 01: Siliguri/Bagdogra to Pheuntsholing 165km
Welcome to Bhutan. On arrival at Siliguri (NJP) railway station or Bagdogra (IXB) airport meet & greet by
our representative. Transfer from Siliguri/Bagdogra to Jaigaon/Phuentsholing at Bhutan border. Check
into hotel, visit zangto pelri lhakhang & rest of the day is leisure.
Overnight: Phuntsholing
Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu 170km
After breakfast proceed to Bhutan immigration for immigration formalities and after completed at work in
immigration you will start your journey to Thimphu (7,500 ft), the Bhutan capital. On the way enjoy the
beauty of Bhutan Himalaya, waterfall & dram view. On arrival at Thimphu check into your respective
hotel. Evening leisure time at clock Tower & Market Area.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive till cheri monastery for hike and while return back, lunch at base camp of Cheri
Monastery, after lunch visit to, buddha point- world largest sitting buddha, Simply Bhutan Museum,
Takin Zoo, Then, visit Handicrafts Emporium and local shops if you like to browse through example
of Bhutan’s fine traditional arts. Here you can buy textiles, thangkha paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and
wood carvings, jewellery, interesting items made from local materials, and all manner of unique
objects. Evening visit clock Tower

Day 04: Thimphu – Punakha 65km
After breakfast Proceed for a full day to Punakha (Approx 75km/ 3 Hours from Thimphu). Punakha is the
old capital of Bhutan and now its district of punakha Dzongkhag. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till
1955.
En-route Dochu la Pass. Visit Douchu la pass (3150masl), in this pass most of time snowfall but it is
depends on the weather and you can see the ice on opposite of the roadside. The pass is a popular among
the tourists because of its 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan range. The place is worth going in
clear winter days with magnificent view of snow-capped mountains and mountain pass.
After reaching at Punakha; lunch at Punakha river side.
Visit to punakha Dzong: The Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungthang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang, is the
administrative centre of Punakha District in Punakha, Bhutan. Constructed by Ngawang Namgyal, 1st
Zhabdrung Rinpoche, in 1637–38, it is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan and one of
its most majestic structures and Suspension Bridge.

Day: 05 Punakha To Paro 115km
Morning proceed to paro, Morning Hike to chimmi lhakhang- Chimi Lhakhang, also known as Chime
Lhakhang or Monastery or temple, is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District, Bhutan. Located
near Lobesa, it stands on a round hillock and was built in 1499 by the 14th Drukpa hierarch, Ngawang
Choegyel, after the site was blessed by the "Divine Madman" the maverick saint Drukpa Kunley (1455–
1529) who built a chorten on the site.
After lunch drive to Paro; Visit Paro Dzong and National Museum of Bhutan
Evening- leisure time at paro town
Day: 06 Taktsang Hiking
Morning - After breakfast, take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese
monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this
monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”. The excursion to monastery’s view point takes about 5 hours
for round trip.
Activities- if your interested, you can go for hot stone bath at local homestay but the price is not included
(1500/tub)
Overnight: Paro
Day: 07 Paro to Phuntsholing/ 145KM
Morning proceed to paro, stop near chu zom- two river meeting together, visit iron bridge, stop near
paro river and enjoy the view of Paro airport and continued proceed to Phuntsholing
Over Night: Phuntsholing
Day: 08 Phuntsholing to Bagdora/IXB/Departure
Morning check out hotel and proceed from Phuentsholing to Siliguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra (IXB) for your
onward journey with happy memories to cherish.
