    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have completed my BSC in Applied Biology from Debretabor


    University and my MSC in Environmental Science and Technology from
    Jimma University. I am interested in the internship opportunity at the
    Africa Union for member states of the AU. My educational background
    aligns well with sustainable environment, technology, and innovation,
    which are the qualifications you are seeking for internship. I am a
    student with great distinction who is motivated to gain work
    experience from such a prestigious multi-national organization.

    I am motivated to work as well as learn during my stay if I am selected


    by your organization. It will help me a lot to gain practical knowledge
    and complement the theoretical knowledge and skills I have developed
    through my educational background. It will give me a great chance to
    learn from senior workers in my study area and also how to interact
    with professionals in the workplace. My country, Ethiopia, is one of the
    AU's members and the fastest-growing developing country. I will use
    the practical skills I gain from this internship to contribute to the
    development of my country as well as Africa. Regarding skills required
    from the internship, I have excellent communication skills and the
    ability to work with a team and community. While studying for my MSc
    degree, I have participated in community-based training programs and
    developmental team training program and been awarded a special
    certificate for my outstanding contribution to working with the
    community. I have excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills
    in English. I have basic computer skills and can work efficiently with
    Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. In addition, I have the ability to
    work under pressure and I am flexible in where I want to work.
    Generally, based on my strong educational background and the skills I
    have, I am eligible for this internship, and I hope I will get the
    opportunity to work with the organization. I have attached my CV for
    further reference.
