Recruitment Team
Rainforest Alliance
Côte d’Ivoire

I am writing to express my strong interest in the position of Senior Associate,

Communications with Rainforest Alliance in Côte d’Ivoire, as advertised. With my solid
background in communications, and strong passion for sustainability, I am confident that I
am well-suited to contribute to the success of your mission.

My previous roles have involved creating and implementing communication strategies that
effectively relay project results, engage stakeholders, and foster partnerships. This aligns
perfectly with the responsibilities of the Senior Associate role, where I would be responsible
for developing and executing communication strategies, both digital and traditional,
ensuring alignment with Rainforest Alliance's protocols.

My proficiency in both French and English, coupled with a strong knowledge of social media
management and digital communications strategies, will allow me to reach diverse local and
international audiences.
Additionally, my organizational and interpersonal skills, coupled with an ability to work
effectively in multicultural environments, will enable me to collaborate successfully with
internal teams, external stakeholders, and local communities.

I am particularly drawn to Rainforest Alliance’s commitment to sustainability and positive

change for farming and forest communities, and I am eager to contribute to these efforts. I
am excited about the opportunity to support a project that provides cash payments linked
to sustainable agricultural strategies, as it aligns with my passion for using communications
to drive meaningful impact.

I would be honored to discuss my qualifications in further detail. Thank you for yconsidering
my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the important work that
Rainforest Alliance is doing in Côte d’Ivoire.

Sincerely,
Nana Mariama
