NARRATIVE REPORT
School Planning Team Assembly
January 17, 2023
As part of the ESIP Preparation, Pacita Madrigal Warns Mababang

Paaralan ng Bagong Silang School Planning Team held a meeting last
January 17, 2023, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon to discuss the school's
VMGC statement and roles and responsibilities. The Assembly was
presided over by the Faculty President, Ms. RinaJoy M. Dulongbinte.
The meeting began with a heartfelt prayer led by Ms. Gizelle M. Masusi
to ask God for guidance and wisdom from the start to end of the
assembly, followed by welcoming remarks from Mr. John Peter M. Salivio
to get a good start about the school improvement planning. He set the
tone for the meeting and encouraged the participants to be actively
engaged in the discussion.
Ms. Myleen G. De Guzman then introduced the School Planning Team for
the fiscal year 2023-2025. She provided an overview of the team
members' skills, expertise, and experience, emphasizing their collective
commitment to the school's mission.
School Head, Mrs. Annabelle M. De Jesus, then delivered a

comprehensive presentation on the DepEd's vision and mission. She
explained her perspective about DepEd's vision as “Bawat batang mag-
aaral ay may taglay at angking talion at kakayahan. Nakalulugod na ito
ay nakikita at nabibigyang pansin ng pamunuan ng kagawaran ng
edukasyon. At dahil dito napauunlad ang kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral
bilang isang mabuting mamamayan.”

aral. Nakagagalak na sa bawat institusyon ng kagawaran ng edukasyon

dekalidad na edukasyon ang mga batang mag-aaral.”
She also highlighted the school's objectives, strategic priorities, and

long-term goals, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and
teamwork to achieve them with a quote saying “Walang mananalo sa
laban kung mag-isa ka lang. Magtulungan tayo upang magtagumpay”.
After the presentation of DepEd's Vision and Mission, Mr. Miguel Brian A.
Agsaway, the SPG President, shared his thoughts about it. He said that
“My idea about the DepEd’s vision is that it sounds very convincing, and
our differences make us special. On DepEd’s mission, I thank my
parents for helping our school to create a positive learning
environment”.
He also expressed his excitement about the direction that the school is
taking and pledged to support the school's efforts towards achieving its
goals.
SPTA President, Mrs. Nimfa F. Bernales also shared her insights in the
DepEd’s vision mission that it is important to understand the it in order
to fully support their child's education. She stated that “Natutuwa ako
na nalaman ko ang DepEd vision mission upang masuportahan ko ang
aking anak. Bilang magulang, mas naunawaan ko ang mga layunin ng
paaralan upang matulungan ko ang aking mga anak na mas lumago sa
hindi lang sa pag-aaral kundi sa iba’t ibang kakayahan upang matutong

Master Teacher II Mrs. Maricel M. Espina explained the roles and

responsibilities of the School Planning Team. She emphasized the
importance of teamwork, communication, and collaboration, and
encouraged everyone to work together towards achieving the school's
objectives.
An open forum followed, where the attendees had the opportunity to

raise their concerns, ask questions, and provide suggestions. The School
Planning Team provided valuable insights, feedback, and action plans to
address these concerns. They voted for the school's major issues, which
require a careful process and an immediate solution that will benefit the
pupils.
Ms. Annie Rose O. Sangalang delivered the closing remarks providing

everyone with a recap of the entire meeting and thanking everyone for
their participation and contributions to the assembly.
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m., and the attendees left the
assembly with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to
achieving the school's goals.
