One autumn day in a large forest, a small squirrel named Chippy was busy collecting acorns
to prepare for the coming winter. Chippy knew that once the snow fell, food would become
scarce, so he worked tirelessly, gathering as much as he could. One afternoon, while he was
burying an acorn near the edge of the forest, he heard a strange sound. Curiosity got the better
of him, and he cautiously followed the noise until he found a large eagle trapped in some
thick vines.
The eagle, struggling to break free, saw the small squirrel and asked for help. Despite being
afraid, Chippy knew he had to do something. He quickly chewed through the vines, freeing
the eagle from its trap. The grateful bird thanked Chippy and flew off into the sky.
A few weeks later, the first heavy snowfall arrived. Chippy was snug in his nest with all his
food stored up, but suddenly, a fierce wind blew, knocking his nest from the tree and
scattering his supplies across the forest floor. Cold and hungry, Chippy didn’t know what to
do. Just then, the eagle he had saved swooped down and carried him to a safe, warm place in
a nearby cave, where the eagle shared his food with Chippy for the rest of the winter.
