The Importance of Education Among Paulinian Students

Ladies and gentlemen,

Imagine a world where education is valued and taken seriously.

There will be no stifled dreams and no dreams will be wasted. Imagine this
within our own Paulinian community. Education, especially to us
Paulinians, is the beacon that lightens the path towards a better future not
only for us but for society as well.

But here, at St. Paul, I was taught that education is not about
knowledge filling your mind but developing your character, your values,
and that sense of responsibility. We're taught it's not a right but a
responsibility—that empowers us to make that difference, to make that
positive difference in the world. Education helps us unlock our potential,
grow to become compassionate human beings, and prepare us to face the
world with faith, integrity, and excellence.

As Paulinian students, we are challenged to be the epitome of what

genuine education is all about, using our learning to make others better,
to lead with humility, and to live with purpose. Education here does not
prepare us only for exams, it prepares us for life. It molds us into
becoming a responsible citizens who can contribute in making our
communities, country, and world a better place for all its people.

Education helps us to dream big, free from ignorance, with

meaningful lives. Academic achievement won't define a Paulinian, but
education will instill deep compassion, empathy, and moral responsibility
that challenges each one of us to rise above ourselves while lifting others
up. This is the core of becoming a Paulinian, a person who is well-rounded
in faith, knowledgeable, and committed in making a significant difference
in our society.

Let us take pride in the education we are lucky enough to receive,

and let's commit to using it for the greater good and better cause. The
world needs us—well-prepared, well-rounded, and well-educated
Paulinians. Together, through the gift of education, we can create the
greater, better, and brighter world we all deserve.

Thank you.
