    Course Description: This is s three-unit course delivered both in the classroom and in computer laboratory. This course focuses on the fundamentals of internet and how it works. This course provides a deep understanding on the history of internet and the existence of World Wide Web. It will address the different application of internet like electronic mail and the creation of web pages. The students will also learn how to develop web pages using the common webpage authoring tool, HTML. The students learning are examined through hands-on exercises, production of outputs/transforms, and required projects. Course Objectives:

    Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to:

    Produce web pages using HTML programming language. Publish web pages over the Internet. Exhibit competencies in the use of HTML. Effectively utilize concepts in producing worthwhile outputs using applications software such as HTML and graphics software. 5. Describe the evolution of internet, what the Internet is and how it operates. 6. Discuss a variety of Internet features and web applications.
