GOD’S PROMISE OF PEACE

How do we apply this to our lives today? When we face a

difficult situation, our first instinct is often to fix it, to control
it, or to understand it.

HOW TO EXPERIENCE GOD’S PEACE
1. TURN YOUR WORRIES INTO PRAYERS
1. TURN YOUR WORRIES INTO PRAYERS
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends
all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in
Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7
TURN YOUR WORRIES INTO PRAYERS
Start a prayer journal. Write down your worries, and then
write out a prayer for each one. This practice not only helps
you articulate your concerns to God, but it also allows you
to look back and see how God has answered your prayers
over time.
2. MEDITATE ON GOD’S PROMISES
MEDITATE ON GOD’S PROMISES
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.

Psalm 23:1-3
3. PRACTICE GRATITUDE

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for

you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
PRACTICE GRATITUDE
Start each day by writing down three things you are
grateful for. They can be big or small—anything from a good
night’s sleep to a kind word from a friend. This habit can
transform your outlook and help you see God’s hand in
every aspect of your life.
4. TRUST GOD’S TIMING
TRUST GOD’S TIMING
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31
TRUST GOD’S TIMING

“Lord, I trust Your timing.”
