I understand that taking part in the Rosary Private School Muweilah conference may include certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, mental distress, property damage, illness, accidents, and unforeseen events. I realize that these hazards may emerge from a variety of activities, such as public speaking, wandering around the conference grounds, and interacting with other participants, transportation to and from the conference venue, and engaging in social events. I am aware that the conference organizers have made reasonable efforts to minimize such hazards, but I accept that it is my obligation to exercise caution and follow all safety recommendations and instructions provided. I agree to hold RPSMUN, its organizers, staff, volunteers, partner organizations, and their respective directors, executives, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to my actions, conduct, or behavior during the conference. I accept full responsibility for any harm, damage, or losses caused to others or the conference premises as a result of my actions, including but not limited to violations of the conference organizers' rules, regulations, or codes of conduct. In the event of an emergency. I authorize the conference organizers to offer or arrange for any medical attention, hospitalization, and/or emergency transportation that they feel essential for my well-being. In the event of an emergency, I acknowledge that the conference organizers will make reasonable steps to notify my emergency contact person. I hereby provide permission for Rosary Private School Muweilah Model United Nations Conference to use my likeness in a photograph, video recording, and sound recording in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other kind of compensation. I understand and agree that these files will become RPSMUN's property and will not be returned. I thus grant RPSMUN definitive permission to edit, change, copy, display, publish, or distribute this photograph for the purpose of advertising RPSMUN or for any other valid reason. Additionally, I forfeit my right to review or approve the final product, including any written or digital format in which my likeness appears. I also relinquish any claim to royalties or other remuneration arising from or linked to the use of the photograph, sound, or video recording. I accept that at the discretion of the RPSMUN team, I could be restricted entrance to the social event or asked to leave at any moment. I understand that breaking the rules will result in suitable repercussions. The severity of such consequences is entirely up to the RPSMUN team. I therefore declare that by attending the social event, I relinquish any and all obligations or rights against the RPSMUN team, staff, or any linked organizations, entities, or individuals regarding the social event venue. I also declare that I free RPSMUN from all liability arising from any person in connection with the services provided, including but not limited to claims for loss, bodily harm, loss, theft, damage, or any other charges.
In the case of any allergies, or life-threatening health
conditions, make sure to inform our staff and carry any necessary medications, EPI pens, inhalers, etc. That you may need during the conference. We are not responsible for providing any of those necessary items incase of an allergic reaction, and will be contacting medical services or any guardian/contact provided to us.
VERY IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS:-
during the conference you are obligated to follow our terms and conditions at all times.
•Registration: All participants attending the conference are
required to complete the registration form. Participants whom successfully register and secure an acceptance will receive an email for confirmation.
•Credibility of information: Participants are obligated to
provide us accurate information that aligns with the present. Any changes can be altered by contacting us at [email protected].
•Website: Our website will be timely updated. Our Instagram
page will be sharing any updates about modifications that may occur. It is the participants responsibility to update themselves on any changes by frequently checking our website and socials.
•Code of conduct: Throughout the conference at all times,
participants are expected to treat other participants, staff members and event organizers with courtesy and professionalism. Any violation to the code of conduct may result in expulsion from the conference.
•Dress code: Throughout the duration of the conference, all
participants are mandated to follow professional dress code. Any participant whom fails to meet the standards required may be denied entry to the conference premises. Casual attire is not allowed. Dress code details and restrictions will be provided in the handbook. •Travel arrangements & Transportation: It is the responsibility of the participants to arrange their own transportation to and from the conference venue. The conference organizers are not responsible for any travel-related issues encountered by participants.
•Photography and Recording: By attending this conference,
participants grant permission for their pictures and videos to be taken & used, without their knowledge, by members of the Media crew. These images may be used for promotions, and could potentially be uploaded to our website or socials.
•Rules of procedures: It is MANDATORY for all participants
to follow the rules of procedure governed by HMUN. Delegates are expected to follow the standard processes mentioned in the delegate handbook provided on the website. Formal training sessions will be provided for all committees to familiarize delegates with the agendas, as well as to clear up misconceptions & address any inquiries.
•Committee assignments: Participants will be assigned to
specific committees and provided with debate topics. They are responsible for preparing position papers, giving speeches, and formulating resolution papers.
•Change of preference: Requests from applicants for a new
country or committee assignment will NOT be considered after registration.
•Use of electronic devices: During the conference sessions,
delegates are allowed to utilize their cell phones, laptops, tablets and other gadgets solely for conference-related activities. However, delegates must refrain from inappropriate or excessive use of technology that could lead to distributions. Failing to follow this guideline may result in suspension from the committee, or even expulsion from the conference. •Registration Fee & Payments: All participants are required to make a payment in advance. It is important to note that the registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Our website & socials will provide details regarding deadlines. Failing to submit the payment will result in forfeiture of the committee allocation that has been assigned to the participant.
•Alterations in itinerary: The conference schedule is
subjectable to modifications, For example: postponement, preponement, as well as cancellation of the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the case of cancellation of the conference, a refund will be provided to all participants whom paid. STRICTLY PROHIBITED:-
•Smoking and vaping are not allowed, if participant(s) are
found caught they will be expelled from the conference and the venue. This may also result in being banned from attending the conference anymore.
•Any form of violence will not be tolerated.
•Refrain from bringing any form of illegal or controlled
substances, this includes but is not limited to alcohol, any form of drugs that are not medicine, or any other prohibited items.
•Bullying, defamatory actions, and physical misconduct are
unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
•Right to participate: The staff of RPSMUN reserve the right to
refuse attendance to any delegate or executive board member without restrictions.
•Flirting is strictly intolerable. This is a professional setting,
and code of conduct must be followed at all times. I declare that I have carefully reviewed, comprehended, and will follow the RPSMUN Security Rules, as well as the applicable laws of the Rosary Private School Muweilah and any other relevant laws or regulations in effect at the conference location, and I have signed below to release, discharge, and waive any and all obligations from Rosary Private School Muweilah and the Model United Nations Student organization.
