 NOTES

Using this pattern you will crochet penguin lovey blanket with a cap.
The toy pieces are crocheted in continious non-joing rounds.
This pattern doesn’t include any crochet lessons. You must know how to crochet
main stitches.
Skill level - medium.
Finished toy measures about 25 cm (9,84 inches) when using the
recommended materials and hook sizes (without a cap).
My stitches have a semi X-shape. If your stitches have V-shape, then your toy will
be bigger.
The body and the feet are crocheted as one piece. The wings and the tail are
attached when crocheting the body.
The cap is removable.

SAFETY NOTE

The item made from this pattern is not intended for use by a child under 3
years of age.
If you still want to crochet it for a child under 3 years old, I recommend not to
use the safety eyes but to embroider them and not sewing a bell on the cap.
If you intend to sell your finished item, you are responsible for marketing a safe
product as the maker of these items.

(in saffron color, use a 2 mm crochet hook, don't stuff)

Rnd 1. Ch4, from the second ch from the hook: 2 sc,

3 sc into one st, then on the other side of the chain:
1 sc, 3 sc into one st (9)

Make special needle sculpting for the eyes.

Use the thread of the cream color YarnArt Jeans. Using a needle, insert the
thread into the hole on the head, bring it out at point 1, insert it at point 2 and
bring it out at point 3, insert it at point 4 and bring it out into the hole on the
head. Tighten the ends of the threads well and fix them with a knot. Pic. 16, 17

Embroider the eyebrows above the eyes

(with black sewing thread). Pic. 18

Embroider the eye whites and eyelids.

Rnd 1. Make a ch14, join the first foot with sl st (Pic. 28). Next crochet into FLO 2
turning ch, 5 DC (Pic. 29). Turn over the foot and crochet into BLO 6 DC (Pic. 30).

Then crochet 14 DC along the chain, join the

second foot crocheting into FLO 6 DC along the 34

foot (Please note! The tail of the saffron thread
