BIOGRAPHICAL DATA

RESTY FRANCISCO FRONDA was born on April 29, 2002 in General

Mariano Alvarez, Cavite. He is the son of Ricardo G. Fronda and Helen F.

Fronda. He is presently residing at Phase 2 Block 11 Lot 59, Brgy. Poblacion

5, GMA, Cavite.

Resty finished his primary education at Family Village Resources

Elementary School in GMA, Cavite in 2016 and his secondary education at

General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School, General Mariano Alvarez,

Cavite in 2020. He enrolled at General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School

for his Senior High. He took Science, Technology, Engineering and

Mathematics (STEM) strand. He is planning to take BS in Civil Engineering in

Pamantasan Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila.

RAPHAEL BERNARDO GARCIA was born on June 29, 2003 in Manila.

he is the son of Anne Madel Garcia, and he is currently residing at Sampaloc 3

Green Woods Village, Dasmarinas, Cavite. Raphael or Arbee has finished his

primary education at Dominican School Manila which is located at A.H. Lacson

St., Sampaloc, Manila, for his secondary education he enrolled at Holy Heart

Christian Academy located at Gen. Diokno St, Santa Cruz, Manila, 1008 Metro

Manila. He enrolled at General Mariano Alvarez Technical Highschool for his

Senior High and took the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

(STEM) strand. He is planning to take BS in Computer Science at Pamantasan

Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila.

CHRISTIAN JAY MERIN MANALO was born on October 26, 2003 in

General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite. He is the son of Aijalon Y. Manalo and Perla

Merin. He is presently residing at Blk19 lot74 Brgy De Las Alas GMA, Cavite.

Jay finished his primary education in Vox Dei Academy in GMA, Cavite

in 2016 and his secondary education at General Mariano Alvarez Technical

High School, General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite in 2020. He enrolled at General

Mariano Alvarez Technical High School for his Senior High. He took Science,

Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand. He is planning to

take BS in Chemical Engineering in Cavite State University.

DAN ASHLEI BOMBASE SANTOS was born on September 04, 2004

in Tondo, Manila. He is the son of Leo Dan Malapad Santos and Marilyn

Hernandez Bombase. He is presently residing at Brgy. Severino Delas alas,

GMA, Cavite.

Dan finished his primary education at Vicente Lim in Manila in 2016 and

his secondary education at General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School,

General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite in 2020. He enrolled at General Mariano

Alvarez Technical High School for her Senior High. He took Science,

Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand. He is planning to

take BS in Civil Engineering in Pamantasan Ng Lungsod Ng Maynila.

ASIZIA KIMBERLY VASQUEZ SEMILLA was born on November 03,

2002 in Sta. Cruz, Manila She is the daughter of Mark Anthony Rodriguez

Semilla and Ma. Vrizeine Vasquez Semilla. She is presently residing at Phase

2 Block 18 Lot 12, Terraverde Residences, Barangay Bancal, Carmona Cavite.

Angel finished her primary education at Cupang Elementary School

Main at Muntinlupa City in 2015 and her secondary education at San Roque

Catholic School Main in 2019. She enrolled at General Mariano Alvarez

Technical High School for her Senior High. She took Science, Technology,

Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand. She is planning to take BS in

Civil Engineering at the Technological University of the Philippines.

THE AWARENESS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF GENERAL

MARIANO ALVAREZ TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL ABOUT FAST FASHION

AND ITS ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT. Inquiries, Investigation & Immersion,

Research Capstone Project. Science, Technology, Engineering, and

Mathematics. General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School. June 2020.

The study is about the awareness of Senior High school students of

General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School about fast fashion and its

environmental impact, providing the current state of individual awareness and

acknowledgment of fast fashion and its underlying effects. Fast fashion is the

mass production of cheap clothes that were made for short term use and the

cycle of fast is unsustainable as it takes and takes and keeps on taking from

our resources which would be then made into clothes and the end for those

clothes in landfills because those clothes are made to be thrown away as it

follows the "trend" The fast fashion industry over the years has been rapidly

growing as it captures the attention of many, especially the younger generation,

but its growth comes at a cost which is our environment.

Giving them resolution and responsive actions, they can do to ease and

lessen the negative impacts. The researchers gathered information related to

the study was done by researching and inquiring to different people using a

survey questionnaire and going places that can provide information such as

libraries and using modern primary and secondary resources (internet).

The conducted study and survey with ninety-seven (97) participants

were evaluated by the researchers to assess the information and interpret them

into numerical data. To come up with a conclusion about the awareness rate,

environmental impacts (positive and negative), and actions that needed to be

done to lessen the negative impacts.
