B.Ed. ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
(SESSION 2024-2026)
Online application on prescribed format are invited from eligible in-service candidates
for admission to B.Ed. programme through Distance mode for the Academic Session
2024-2026. Application forms are available on website www.distanceeducationju.in from
30-10-24 onwards along with detailed information about the admission process.
Eligibility: - The candidates fulfilling the following conditions shall be eligible to seek
admission in the B.Ed. programme in ODL mode at Centre for Distance & Online
Education(CDOE), University of Jammu, Jammu.
1. Candidates with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) either in the
Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) and / or Master’s Degree in Science/ Social
Science/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology specialized in Science
and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are
eligible for admission to the programme.
2. Who are serving as full time teachers in the recognized schools till date
(Primary/Secondary/Higher Secondary Levels), within the territorial jurisdiction
of the University of Jammu, can apply.
4. First preference will be given to the candidates who have completed Diploma in
Education / Diploma in Elementary Education/ or trained in service teachers in
Elementary Education.
Applicants are advised to fill the form ONLINE with the correct particulars and take out
the print of the filled in form for the personal record for further use.

1. The distance learners are required to create UCG-DEB-ID on URL link:
https://deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDEBId before proceeding further for the admission.
2. Important instructions for filling in the admission form online will be available
on Website www.distanceeducationju.in.
3. The University/ Centre has not authorized any person/ agency to conduct
admission on its behalf.
4. Mere submission of Online application does not guarantee admission.
5. Reservation policy in this regard shall be applicable as per the rules / norms
applicable in Jammu and Kashmir Union territory/ University of Jammu.
6. The admission shall be provisional and subject to the scrutiny of the original
documents.
7. After the successful acceptance of the form the candidates has to pay the total
admission fee @ Rs. 40,000/- online for all semesters.
