1. Give 5 important facts about Asia and explain briefly.


 Asia is Home to more than 60% of the Global Population.
- One primary factor as to why this happened is due to the top 2 of the world’s
most populous countries can be found in this continent.

 There is Nearly 2,300 Languages Spoken in Asia.


- As a consequence to its large population, many culture converged and exchange
occurred which included the influence of certain language across different
regions.

 All of the World's Primary Faiths Originated in Asia.


- This is again due to wide variety of religious tradition being practiced amongst a
huge demography of different followers of such practices. Mixing with political
and military conquest of the Europeans and Middle Eastern Asians, it eventually
culminated to become today’s domineering world religions.

 The world's largest Muslim population lives in Indonesia.


- Mainly because this country, like its Southeast Asian neighbors, was into
different forms of trading which even led to it becoming a gigantic thalassocracy
that dominated the Strait of Malacca and other important islands in the vicinity.
Since Arab-Muslims became one of the merchants in its trade system, the
religion inevitably spread as it was adopted by local rulers along with the
influence of Sufism since the 13th century. During the late colonial era, it was
even adopted as a rallying banner against colonialism.

 Japan has the Second Oldest Population in the World (After Monaco)
- According to a report of CNN, one of the main factors to this is that the deaths
have outpaced births in Japan for more than a decade, posing a growing problem
for leaders of the world's third-largest economy. The country also has one of the
highest life expectancies in the world, contributing to the ballooning elderly
population.
2. Which country is considered as the oldest known civilization in Asia? Give brief
information about it.

- According to the History Channel, it is Mesopotamia since Humans first settled


here in the Paleolithic era. By 14,000 B.C., people in the region lived in small
settlements with circular houses.
