Sub: XXVI All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship 2024 in (Air
Weapon) events at Kalyan Bigha Indoor Shooting Range, Harnaut, Nalanda, Bihar from
29th November to 6th December, 2024.
Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that the XXVI All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship 2024
in Air Weapon events will be held at Kalyan Bigha Indoor Shooting Range, Harnaut, Nalanda, Bihar from 29 th
November to 6th December, 2024. It will be conducted by Bihar State Rifle Association under the patronage of
NRAI, as per the program attached at Annexure A”. Shooters from all over the country are invited to participate
in this Championship. The terms and conditions are as under: -
1. The competition is open to school students all over the country in individual and team events.
3. All the affiliated units are advised to conduct their State level Inter School Shooting Competitions using “Online
Software of NRAI to enable the shooters to file their entries for this Championship. The shooters who achieve the
following MQS, during State Inter School Shooting Championship or any competition recognized by NRAI, are
eligible to participate in this Championship: -
Shooters, who participated in 65th /66th NSCC and achieved the MQS, as required under Rule 17.6 of NRAI
Match Book, are not eligible to participate in National Rule matches.
4. Shooters, who have not received/ applied for their Shooter ID number, must immediately visit our website
www.thenrai.org to check status/apply for their Shooter ID number.
5. The entries will be accepted through respective affiliated State Rifle Association/Units only. THE
ENTRIES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED “NRAI’s ONLINE SYSTEM” and no paper entry will be
accepted. The Shooters are required to visit our website www.thenrai.org to file their entries along with
online payment of entry fee. The online entries with normal fee will be accepted till 07.30 PM on 15th
November, 2024. Late entries with triple entry fee will be accepted till 07.30 PM on 18 th November, 2024.
6. In case any Shooter/Affiliated unit needs any assistance for filing the entry, he/she must approach NRAI
immediately BUT before 5 PM on 15th November, 2024 so that their entries are accepted with normal fee. Shooters
contacting for assistance after 15th November, 2024 are liable to pay triple fee. Shooters may also send email on
email ID [email protected] .
7. Entry fee will not be refunded except in the event of the match being cancelled. The entry fee should be paid
“online” and no cash/draft will be accepted. Shooters will be permitted to shoot only in the details and lanes
allotted to them. No requests regarding change of firing points/relays/dates will be entertained. Protest fee is Rs.
200/- (Plus 18% GST = Rs.236)
8. Team events will be conducted in National Rule (NR) Matches only. Teams can be formed by the shooters of
same State and only one team consisting of three shooters per State will be allowed in each event. Final entry of
three members of the team must be submitted latest by 5 PM on 19th November, 2024 at Kalyan Bigha Indoor
Shooting Range, Harnaut, Nalanda, Bihar.
9. Shooters below the age, stated below, as on 31 st December, 2024 will be eligible to participate in various age
categories matches.
Shooter who achieves MQS as per Annexure “B” will be eligible to participate in 67th NSCC. Shooters who
achieve MQS as per Annexure “B” will be notified as “Renowned Shooter “and they will also be eligible for grant
of Import permit for Import of their equipment’s. List of NR Matches as per Annexure “B attached.
All Shooters, who are already registered, are also required to upload their medical categorization certificate as
approved by PCI, if not done earlier. Without a medical categorization certificate, no entry will be accepted under
Para Category.
There will be only one age category – Men and Women. However, Deaf shooters may participate in other category
matches according to their age but there no separate medal will be awarded under those categories to Deaf
shooters.
Participation in Deaf category is restricted to shooters who must be Deaf, defined as a hearing loss of at least 55
db PTA in the better ear (3-tone frequency average at 500, 1000 and 2000 Hertz, air conduction ISO 1969
Standard)
1. Shooters wanting to participate in Deaf category for the first time have to email their Disability
Certificate/Audiogram from Govt. Hospital to Technical Director/Coach, email ID
[email protected] or WhatsApp Mobile Number 09868206320, for verification by Coach and
AISCD ( All India Sport Council of the Deaf)
2. Shooters whose disability certificates have been verified earlier do not need to verify again.
3. Entry in Deaf category will be accepted online. Email match no. to [email protected] verification
of documents.
4. Deaf shooters can also participate in General category events as per MQS achieved, for the event to
participate in. Entry in General Category should be submitted directly on the NRAI’s online system.
5. Scores achieved by deaf shooters in General category will be considered for MQS in Deaf category.
(Copies of Clauses 1.4 and 17.6 are attached herewith at Annexure “C” ” for your ready reference. List
of matches is at Annexure “D”.
10. Those shooters, who are taking part in ISSF matches and are members of the Core Group, are not
allowed to take part in National Rule Matches.
11. Shooters who have taken part in international competitions are not allowed to take part in this
Competition.
12. Shooters achieving MQS as per “Annexure B” in NR Matches will be allowed to participate in 67 th
NSCC.
13. Shooters can take part in one category i.e. Junior, Youth or Sub Youth. Individual and team medals will be
awarded as under: -
14. The competition will be conducted according to ISSF Rules and NRAI Match Book.
15. No arms will be provided to the competitors by NRAI. Shooters will arrange their own arrangement of Air
pellets.
16. The details/lanes would be allotted in the name of State Rifle Associations and not to individual shooters. All
the participating States/Unit should officially nominate a Team Manager for the championship and he should
ensure that details/lanes allotted to state/unit are allocated to the shooters without any inconvenience. The Team
Manager or his/her authorized representative only will attend the Managers meetings, submit protests, if any, and
be sole in-charge of day-to-day affairs of the team concerned. Scoring protest can be lodged by the concerned
shooters also.
17. The list of Matches and Entry fee attached as per “Annexure C”.
i. Due to COVID – 19 conditions, shooters are requested to strictly follow SOPs as laid down by
Govt. of India/Bihar Govt.
