1-SUMMARY “TRY AGAIN”

This poem is written by William Edward Hickson. In this poem the poet conveys a
universal message of continuous struggle. The poet says that we should keep on trying
again and again till success. If we act upon this principle, we would become hardworking
and successful. If we do not succeed once or twice, we should keep on trying. The road to
success has many barriers. We should work hard to cross the road. Our continuous struggle
will give us success.

2-SUMMARY “THE RAIN”

Nature and hardships of the poor are favourite themes of W.H Davies. He describes
his lovely views about nature. He says that he feels as if leaves are drinking raindrops. The
rich leaves are giving these drops, one by one, to the poor leaves. They make a sweet
noise. When the sun comes out of clouds, the rain will stop. When the sun shines, there
will be a lovely sight. He says that the rich get golden chance. But he hopes that there will
be a time when sunshine will spread equally all over the world.

3-SUMMARY “PEACE”
Dr. Hartmann has special taste for psychology and spiritual science. In this poem she
also uses imagery and describes two opposite aspects of wind. She says that wind in the
form of storm smashes everything. But when the wind is gentle and cool, it gives lives to
buds, birds and human. The wind has the both aspects of disaster and peace. Though wind
storm brings disaster, we have to experience it to enjoy peace. There lies peace in the
depth of this disaster.

Quraish.
(4) During the sermon, an Ansari seeing some men from the tribe of Banu Tha’lba sitting there

complete silence. Only one person demanded a few dirhams which were paid to him.
(6) Allah’s Messenger (SAW) proved by his own example that no one could be more firm for
justice than him, even if it was against his own interest or the interest of those who were near and
dear to him. He decided every case brought to him, by friend or foe with justice, without fear of
favour.

(11) We all need help at times in our lives. Sometimes we may have accidents and we may get

certain aspects of the news that they are not interested in.

pressure with a clean cloth or bandage. Hold the pressure continuously for 20 to 30 seconds and if
possible elevate the wound. Don’t keep checking to see if the bleeding has stopped because it may
damage or dislodge the clot that is forming and cause bleeding to resume.
