WHAT: GUESS THE SCIENCE WORD THROUGH PICTURE
WHO: ALL GRADE 3 LEARNERS (TO BE DIVIDED INTO 2 GROUPS)
WHERE:1 GROUP IN THE CLASSROOM OF 2- ROSE, 1 GROUP IN

THE CLASSROOM OF 4- VENUS
WHEN: (SIMULTANEOUS AFTER THE OPENING PROGRAM)

September 5, 2024, AT 3:00 PM – 4:00 P.M.
HOW:
 The learners from all the 3 sections in grade 3 shall be
combined and divided into 2 main groups.
 Each main group shall proceed to the assigned classroom, yet
the same set of questions/contest piece shall be administered.
 The main group shall then be divided into sub-groups as
teams.
 Each team shall compete for the contest.
 The top 3 groups (combining the 2 main groups) that earn the
highest points will be declared winners.
 Prizes shall be given to the winners and non-winners
(Consolation).
NOTE:
 Grade 3 advisers shall facilitate the activity and manage
picture-taking.
 Grade 3 Science teacher shall be the one to prepare the
Materials (contest-piece/questions)

HOW:
 The learners from all the 3 sections in grade 4 shall be
grouped according to sections.
 Each section shall be considered as 1 team and shall compete
for the contest with other teams.
 The team that earns the highest points will be declared
winner.
(Consolation).
NOTE:
 Grade 4 advisers shall facilitate the activity and manage
picture-taking.
 Grade 4 teachers shall prepare and complete the form for the
Contest Result.

HOW:
 The learners from all the 2 sections in grade 5 and 3 sections
in grade 6 shall be grouped according to sections.
 Each section shall be considered as 1 team and shall compete
for the contest with other teams.
 The team that earns the highest points will be declared
winner.
(Consolation).

 Grade 5 and 6 advisers shall facilitate the activity and
manage picture-taking.
 Grade 5 teachers shall prepare and complete the form for the
Contest Result.

WHO: ALL INTERESTED (SELECT) LEARNERS FROM GRADES 4 TO

WHERE: 4 EARTH AND 2 RUBY CLASSROOMS

HOW:
 Interested all select learners from grades 4 to 6 shall compete
in writing Science and Technology News following the theme,
““CLIMAQUEST: Forecasting Wind Shifts, Charting
Climate Futures”.
 Each contestant shall be provided with 2 pieces of Bond paper
to be utilized for their news article. (Bring own writing pen)
 All contestants shall have 1 hour to complete their news
article.
 Top 10 winners shall be declared and shall be given prizes.
 Non-winner contestants shall be given consolation prizes.
NOTE:
 Sir Joser T. Milloren and Support Staff shall facilitate the
activity and manage picture-taking.
 Contest Theme shall be the pre-determined theme.
 Coordinator shall prepare and complete the form for the
Contest Result.
