MINUTES OF 1st HOMEROOM PTA MEETING

GRADE FOUR METEOR
March 10, 2022
The second Homeroom PTA Meeting was conducted on March 10, 2022 via Face to face. The meeting
started at 1:00 PM with an Opening prayer through multi-media presentation. The meeting was called to order
by Mrs. Chaterine Joy S. Masayon, the Grade Two Libra Adviser. Before the formal meeting started, Mrs.
Chaterine Joy S. Masayon reminded the parents on the strict implementation of the safety protocol observing
social distancing and wearing of facemasks. Half of the total number of participants were present.
The following agenda were presented:

 Donations Acquired for the Production of SLMs
Mrs. Nancy Salazar informed the parents on the production of the Self Learning Modules or SLMs. She
explained that there was a shortage of the budget for production of the said SLMs. She was thankful for the
donations and support given by the parents. Majority of the parents have positive response.
 Reading Innovation Program
The program for Reading Innovation was discussed to the parents. They were
informed also on the result of the reading assessment. The schedules for reading intervention were
announced.
 Health and Wellness
Parents were reminded on the health of their kids. She also asked parents if they are willing to have COVID
19 vaccination for their kids. 60% are interested and willing to have vaccination.
 Limited Face to Face Class
It was announced that the limited face to face class is scheduled on the 1 st week of March. Priority to join the
class are pupils with COVID 19 vaccination.

MINUTES OF 2ND HOMEROOM PTA MEETING

GRADE FOUR METEOR
April 12, 2022
The second Homeroom PTA Meeting was conducted on March 10, 2022 via Face to face. The meeting
started at 1:00 PM with an Opening prayer through multi-media presentation. The meeting was called to order
by Mrs. Chaterine Joy S. Masayon, the Grade Two Libra Adviser. Before the formal meeting started, Mrs.
Chaterine Joy S. Masayon reminded the parents on the strict implementation of the safety protocol observing
social distancing and wearing of facemasks. Half of the total number of participants were present.

 Pupils’ Academic Performance
The teacher showed the result of the checked modules from 1 st and 2nd quarter. There was also summative
test given in every subject during each quarter to assess the master level of each learning competency. An
activity sheet was also given to learners who needed the intervention.
 Quarterly Recognition
Pupils who got 90% and above average were acknowledge and given recognition. Certificates were
distributed to the parents for them to hand in to their kids. There were 5 achievers pupils identified.
 Release of Report Cards
Report Cards were released to parents to let them know the quarterly performance of their kids. Feedbacks
were given regarding the increasing and decreasing of grades of the learners.

MINUTES OF 1st virtual HOMEROOM PTA MEETING

GRADE TWO LIBRA
October 17, 2021
The first Virtual Homeroom PTA Meeting was conducted on last October 17, 2021 via Facebook
Video The meeting started at 6:00 PM with an Opening prayer led by Mrs. Roselyn Bariñan. The meeting was
called to order by Mrs. Nancy S. Salazar, the Grade Two Libra Adviser. Before the formal meeting started,
Mrs. Nancy S. Salazar introduced herself to the parents. She also encouraged all parents to open their video
camera for the self-introduction and acquaintances

 Orientation of Homeroom Guidance
She introduced the 7 subject modules and the Homeroom Guidance Module. Explained the importance of
accomplishing the said modules and the addition Homeroom Guidance Module. Encourage all the parents to
assist their kids when answering it.
 Pupils’ Academic Performance
Parents were informed to fully assist their children in answering the modules. She announced that results of
the checked modules are the basis for their performance. Intervention is given to learners who do not show
master level in the competency of a specific subject for each week.
 Schedule of Release of Modules
The release of modules for Grade II is every Monday & Tuesday. Parents are instructed to return the
accomplished module on the following week (Monday/Tuesday). Special consideration are given to parents
who have valid reason of not able to claim and return the module on scheduled time.
 Reading assessment
The Grade Two learners are set to undergo reading assessment using the Marongko and Fuller Materials.
The teacher would like to assess the reading ability of the children in order to identify struggling readers.
Reading Innovation Program is set to give reading intervention for identified struggling readers.
