The following pages outline all the important
information you need to know about the event.

A reminder to all entrants that this is a community-


based event focusing on allowing individuals,
families, clubs and groups of athletes to
experience a race environment in a social yet
competitive atmosphere.

The team will verify your identity so please bring your Emirates ID just in case.

Race packs can be collected on behalf of friends or relatives, and it is advisable to have their QR codes with you to ensure a
speedy process.

Participants must have checked in and received 30 minutes before their respective race starts.

RACE CHECK IN PROCESS
When you register you will have received a confirmation email

from PREMIER ONLINE.

• On this email you will find a QR code. Please show this QR


code to the team on race day. They will then assign you a
number. 24
• If you did not receive an email, first check your junk or spam
folders.

• If you still cannot find, log in to your PREMIER ONLINE


account, go to the MANAGE section and you will see your
registration and the QR code.

**Please note for this race you WILL NOT receive a BIB number via
SMS, your number is assigned directly at Check In.
TIMING CHIP
Your timing chip is attached to the
back of your bib. DO NOT TAMPER
WITH IT, as this will result in you not
getting a time. 20

Bibs must be worn on the front of your clothing,

Safety pins are in the envelope or use a race
belt
Your Bib number can be used to search for your
free event photographs the following day

QR CODES ON BIB
There will be 2 QR codes on the BIB. One can
be scanned to see provisional results, the
otherfor future events
PRIZE GIVING
Medals will be awarded to overall winners with the possibility of special prizes by associated
sponsors. Prizes to be confirmed closer to event date and as per the discretion of the sponsor
as to who these are award too.

All participants in all race categories will run to the RIGHT side of the pathway in all
directions
All participants must wear the race bib provided. Failure to do either or both will result
in disqualification
All participants must cross the timing points along the course
It is not permitted to wear another person's bib, this will result in disqualification
All participants must run in their selected distance category. Failure to do so will result
in disqualification.
Runners must always follow the designated route, failure to do so will result in
disqualification
All participants must not intentionally impede the progress of another person
The Race Director will signal that the race is beginning by use of an airhorn
GUN time will be used for this race
Once you hear the start sound you will have started that race – on GUN time.
RACE SAFETY
Runner Etiquette: Encourage safe behavior with your

fellow participants, like not pushing or deliberately
obstructing another runner

Surface Conditions: The race takes place on a mixture of


surfaces that may have loose gravel, please tread

carefully. Watch for steps and pay attention if the route
crosses a road. Be alert

Personal Nutrition: We encourage runners to carry


snacks, gels, or energy drinks if needed and drink
regularly, especially if it’s a hot day.

Pace Yourself: We encourage you to avoid burning out


early by pacing yourself, especially for longer distances
or hilly courses.
START PROCEDURE

• The Event Director will signal that the Run is
beginning by use of an airhorn
• Please wait in the warm up area, outside the start
chute until your distance is called to the start line.
• Runners to self-seed themselves with faster runners
near the front and more social runners toward the
back.
• If you start with the wrong distance you will not
receive a time for the race eg: if you entered the 5km
and you start with the 3km no start time will be
recorded.
END OF EVENT PROCEDURES
