NB: The site address does not contain spaces in between. If you type
it incorrectly you will not access the portal.
Mobile App login Page
This is a block that provides a section for logging in to the
platform. It provides a section for users to enter their username
and password to access their dashboard.
This portal requires you to login for you to access the resources
there in.
The username and password are provided by the
E-learning directorate.
Mobile App Dashboard
The Dashboard is a customizable page for providing users
with details of their progress and upcoming deadlines. In
the centre is the Course overview block which allows
students and teachers to easily track required activities and
filter courses.
It also displays a list of recently accessed courses.
Mobile App Site Home
The site Home comprises of various sections:
1. My Courses – This shows a list of courses you are enrolled to
when you click on it.
NOTE: My courses section will not appear if you are not enrolled
to any course.
2. Course Categories- This section contains the various schools of
Kisii University, departments under each school and the
programmes they contain.
3. Available Courses- It shows a list of recently uploaded courses.
4. Search Courses- This provides a search bar that can be used to
quickly search for courses using the course names or course
codes.
Accessing course content
The Log out icon is used to exit the eLearning platform when you have
completed what your online studies.

Rules of Online Communication (Netiquette)
1. Remember That Real People Take Priority.
2. If You Wouldn't Say It to Someone's Face, Don't Say It Online.
3. If You Wouldn't Show It in Public, Don't Share It Online.
4. Don't Exclude Your Audience.
5. Don't "Friend" Then "Unfriend" People.
6. Don't Overload System Resources With Enormous Files.
7. Respect People's Privacy.
8. Don't Repost Without Checking the Facts.
9. Check and Respond to Emails and Messages Promptly.
10. Update Online Information That People Depend Upon.
