ACTIVITY # 1

Lesson: Basic Concepts and Issues on Human Development

Name: Jean May J. Dela Cruz. Year and Sec: 1st year, 1A- Electrical

1. Early childhood- What are preschool teachers supposed to do


with preschoolers? Answer: Help them develop readiness for
school and not to be too academic in teaching approach. They
ought to give much time for preschoolers to play. Or perhaps
help preschoolers develop school readiness by integrating
children’s games in school activities.

2. Middle and Late childhood


Elementary school teachers ought to help their pupils by
• encourage and stablish behavioral rules and procedures to ensure children learn and
maintain order, and prepare younger students for future education by teaching them
vital subject such as mathematics, science and specially readings. They give student
updates to guardians or parents on the child process, special needs, or improvements.

3. Adolescence
High school teachers ought to help their students by
• by teaching them how to act like a good teenager and good students, lead them to
right path in their life and make them realized their point that can help then in their
future and will gain enough knowledge about what are the things that should will do
and do not to do and knowledge about their subjects also so that they can excel or
increase their knowledge.

4. Explain the meaning of this quotation “ Children are great


imitators. So give them something great to imitate.”

• Before uttering a word in front of the child, think several sometimes about the impact
it could have on their psyche and the future at the large. We should be our ideal human being. It
doesn't mean that we should make them perfect. But we ought at least give them something that
they can apply. And a different stages of their lives children look up different personalities.
Sometimes, it would be their teachers, or friends who are popular, or relatives, but the greatest
impact that occurs in a child's life would be from parents.
5. Show the developmental stages by means of a diagram
inclusive of the ages. Write also the outstanding characteristics trait
and developmental task of each developmental stage.
