    SOLUTION TO

    Tiffin Time Numerical Problem (TTNP) Dated 27.09.2024


    Topic: Fixation of pay due to MACP & Excadre post.

    Q.-9. Fix the pay of Mr. ‘X’ from the following particulars:-
    (i) Mr. ‘X’, was working as LDC in the Pay Level -2 to the stage of Rs 26,800/-with
    DNI on 01.07.2017.
    (ii) He was granted MACP at the Pay Level 3 on 31.03.2017. He had exercised
    option to re-fix his pay on the DNI vide FR 22 I (1) (a) (1).
    (iii) He was subsequently promoted as UDC on 01.01.2022.
    Fix his Pay from 30.03.2017 to 31.01.2023.
    A-9. Fixation of Pay of Mr ‘X” based on his option under FR 22 I (a) (i) as under:-

    Q-10. A DDA (P) drawing substantive pay of Rs 85,800 in the level 11 from
    01.07.2022 was allowed to officiate in a higher post of DA (P) in the pay level 12 for
    the period from 01.03.2023 to 31.03.2023 and 01.10.2023 to 31.12.2023
    respectively and again allowed to work in a temporary ex-cadre post in the pay in
    level 12 from 01.01.2024 to 31.03.2024. He was subsequently promoted to the post
    of DA (P) / Level-12 from 01.05.2024 on a regular basis.
    Regulate the pay of the officer due his regular promotion to the post of DA (P) if he
    opts for pay fixation from the date of appointment itself,
