    To whomever this may concern,

    I am writing to express my interest in the international civic service opportunity with La


    Guilde. I am eager to commit to a project that will allow me to contribute meaningfully while
    also gaining valuable professional and personal experience. With immediate availability for a
    6 to 12-month assignment, I am excited to embrace the challenges and rewards of this
    opportunity.

    I believe volunteering can be a way for me to experiment with new environments, push my
    limits, and serve causes that resonate with me. I see this as an opportunity to grow into
    adulthood by accomplishing something impactful while finding my way in the world. My
    previous experiences living abroad have equipped me with adaptability and a love for
    diverse communities. During high school, in a boarding school, I was immersed in a diverse
    international community, which gave me an early openness to the world and shaped my
    desire to engage with different cultures. I now hold a Bachelor's degree in Politics,
    Philosophy, and Economics from Utrecht University, where I specialized in pathways to
    sustainability. This has fueled my interest to find a mission and role linked to the environment
    through your organization. Furthermore, during an academic exchange in Thailand, I
    volunteered with an eco-village project through Workaway, where I deepened my interest in
    sustainability and grassroots projects.

    I believe this opportunity to complete an international civic service will allow me to not only
    contribute to something significant, sustainability, but also discover new cultures, develop
    valuable skills to enrich my CV, and practice different languages. I speak both English and
    French fluently and have a foundational knowledge of Spanish that I am eager to improve. I
    see this experience as a way to build myself, live a fulfilling adventure, and gain additional
    professional experience that will prepare me for the future.
