RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
- Recreation, an activity that usually requires
physical engagement done for enjoyment and
fun.
- Recreational activities usually refresh one’s
mind and spirit.
AQUATIC RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

SURFING
● Surfing is a surface water sport which involves a

Hazards of Water-based Recreational Activities
Physical Hazards
● Physical hazards include drowning and injuries.
● Injuries can also happen when one performs
water-based recreational activities. For instance,
people put their live in danger when they dive or
jump into waters of unknown depth.

pose hazard threats.
Microbial Hazards
