Like human beings, animals also have sense organs that protect them from
their enemies and help them to locate place.
Many animals have very sharp senses unlike human beings.

Dogs have very powerful sense of smell. The sharp sense of smell dogs is
used in rescue operation.

Many birds like Eagles and Hawks have a sharp sense of sight to locate their food.

When an ant finds food it leaves a chemical trail along the ground on its way other

Big animals eat large amount of food because, they need more energy. So
they need plenty of time to eat and digest their food. It is for this reason that
they sleep for a short period.
Small animals sleep for longer hours because they spend more energy than
large animals.
