    CTT INSERTION CARE


    Instruction: Below is the grading scale which will be used in rating your performance.
    5 Excellent 95-100
    4 Very Satisfactory 88-94
    3 Satisfactory 82-87
    2 Fair 76-81
    1 Needs Practice 70-75

    PURPOSE:

    • Having the knowledge, skills and resources to assess and care a


    wound/insertion site that will result in positive outcomes, regardless of product
    accessibility.

    Perform Pre- procedure Patient Safety procedures.
    Identify and assemble materials for CTT insertion care.
    Assess and perform CTT insertion care maintaining proper
    body mechanics and maintaining aseptic technique.
    Proper waist disposal of materials post-procedure.
    Proper Documentations.
