Applications are invited from suitably qualified Zambian nationals that meet the minimum
requirements outlined here below to contest for sixteen (16) scholarships under the
Algerian Government Scholarship Scheme for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Available are
undergraduate scholarships in the following fields of study: General Medicine, Veterinary
Medicine, Dentistry, PhamD (Dr. of Pharmacy), Geology, Architecture, Agronomy,
Ecology and Environment, Pharmacy, Information systems and software Engineering,
Computer Science, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric
and Electronic Engineering , Telecommunications and Microbiology........... Microbiol-

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants should:
Be Zambian citizens with Green National Registration Cards (NRC);
Undergraduate Applicants:
Be School Leavers who completed Grade 12 in 2023
Have Grades 1-3 in English, Mathematics and subjects relevant to the intended field of
study
Be between the age of 17 and 24 years by September, 2024.
CONDITIONS OFTHESCHOLARSHIP
METHOD OFAPPLICATION
Applicants should submit:
A typed application letter responding to the advert, clearly stating the field of study desired,
age and mobile phone number for easy communication;
Curriculum Vitae, Certified Photocopies of Educational Certificates, Transcript/Statement of
results certified by ECZ and NRC;
Applicants under the age of 17 should submit consent letters from their parents/guardians;
A study plan or synopsis of summarized details ofthe preferred course and how the
intended course of study will enhance one’s contribution to Zambia’s development
(200 words);
A clear copy ofthe deposit slip from NATSAVE Bank of 100 application fee (Application
fee should be deposited at any NATSAVE branch).
It is a requirement by the host country that all nominated candidates undergo comprehensive
medical examination including the HIVtest, Tuberculosis(TB) test, and Hepatitis A & Btests.
Nominated candidates must note that last-minutewithdraw will attract serious sanctions
from HELSB which may include being blacklisted.
Note:
i. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Any applicant who would not hear from us by Friday
30th August 2024 should consider his/her application as unsuccessful;
ii. Applicants should apply in one programme of study only.
iii. Once nominated you are required to have a birth certificate and a valid Zambian passport.
