Position: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Project 1: OXAGON Water Supply Pipe Line Culverts, NEOM

Project 2: Spine Cut and cover Tunnels precast factory NEOM

Key Responsibilities:
❖ Proficiently conducted structural analysis using SAP2000, Etabs, and Prokon to ensure the
integrity of multistory frame structures, including rigorous flexure design of columns, beams,
and slabs against gravity and seismic forces.
❖ Preparation of shop drawings of precast L shapes and T shapes for installation of pipeline.
❖ Preparation of shop drawings of cut and cover arch shape precast tunnel segments as per
BS8666 for reinforcement and formwork.
❖ Led and mentored a team of draftsmen in producing comprehensive design packages and shop
drawings of Concrete, Precast panels, Shop drawings for excavation, column Layout, Anchor
locations, Walls and Hollow core layouts, and rebars including Bar bending schedule BBS as per
ACI and BS 8666 standards.
❖ To resolve technical issues at site in parallel to shop drawings. Construction is executed at site,
due to issues and constraints at site, Technical decisions are taken to amend the shop drawings
i.e. If water-table encounters, footing was changed from isolated to raft at site. Some of the
Wall panels required openings due to MEP team requirements, changed shop drawings at site.
Relocation of anchors due to mismatching at the site because of survey errors.
❖ Applied advanced techniques in structural engineering to analyze shear drifts, seismic spectral
loadings, and wind gusts for RCC and Prestressed structures, ensuring compliance with exposure
categories and safety standards.
❖ Utilized SAFE software for comprehensive foundation design, covering strip, mat, and isolated
foundations, while meticulously verifying against various bearing capacities and spring modulus
to prevent punching shear and bearing capacity failures.
❖ Demonstrated expertise in CSI Bridge for HL93 Vehicle analysis, incorporating dynamic impact
assessments and adhering to AASHTO LRFD standards, ensuring optimal prestressed girder
design with precise tendon configurations and jacking force calculations.

plates, bolts, and weld connections to determine necessary quantities, lengths, and anchorage
lengths, while ensuring steel element stresses remain within acceptable limits.
❖ Engaged in detailed analysis and optimization of structural components, employing a diverse
range of software tools and methodologies to ensure structural integrity, compliance with
industry standards, and optimal performance under various loading conditions.
❖ Led and mentored a team of draftsmen in producing comprehensive design packages, including
reinforcement and formwork drawings, and facilitated submission to third-party consultants for
review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
